Dodging/deflection is not as satisfying as you'd think.I used to think dodging/deflection is the most satisfying mechanic. You press the button at the right time and avoid all damage. Feels nice...?But dodging (like rolling in Souls-like) or deflection (like Sekiro or Hollow Knight) requires you to have memorized boss attacks/patterns. Once you memorize enough and can clear a boss, then there's really no point in replaying it.Die a bunch while learning/memorizing enemy attacks/patterns, then deflect when they attack. That's it. Kind of boring if you think about it.We value replayability.I've replayed bosses in Sekiro and noticed after the first boss clear it was incredibly boring to fight the boss again, pointless too.

I finished Sekiro thrice and after finally beating prologue Genishiro, which was easy enough to make me question why I couldn't before, I think I'm done with the game. The ending with the most conditions didn't even have more bosses, just a couple more fetch quests. Any of you keep going after this point? All I'm missing is the last 3 or so combat techniques, which I'd probably never use anyway. I think the DS games feel way more replayable than this.
