Anyone else feels like getting decision paralysis with these main questlines? Question about Minthara for a first playthrough. I hear you can knock her out when she's temporarily hostile to get a chance to recruit her later. But if she's knocked out in a proper fight, it treats her as dead.This seems gimmicky as all hell and doesn't at all seem like an intended way of handling a questline. More like finding a workaround. Which isn't appealing as an idea, I want a proper, normal experience. Is it better to just kill her then, and don't worry about missed content by missing a whole companion and potentially a major character later on?

What are some really strong builds you figured out, especially for each main character? Yesterday I read about what soul coins do on Karlach, and I thought, ok so if I build her like a monk(e), that means in mid game, on every turn she can dish out an extra 5 d4 damage, just from the coin alone. There are limited coins, sure, but there are also very limited hard fights to use them on, plus they last till long rest and can sweep many fights in 1 long rest. I know I may be late to the party, but I enjoy figuring out these things myself, or through discussion, rather than just watching a guide some guy who plays on explorer mode thinks.

It was something the absolute made her do, so when she's free of it she puts it behind her, and alternatively that works out so larian doesn't have to make a bunch of permutations of scenes.Her focus is killing (or commandeering) the cult and getting revenge on Orin, so it's not like anything in her questline changes whether you raided the grove 70 hours ago or not.Also don't listen to the shitposters who say she has no content. She has 5.3 thousand lines and has one of the cutest romances in the game. Give it a shot.

Would get a lot of mileage out of all that with the war caster perk. If I went 7 into EK, Id be able to use a bonus action to make a weapon atk after casting a cantrip, which also synergizes really well with all that stuff I just mentioned.
