A lot of people mistakenly believe Buddhism is a philosophy and has ideas about how letting go can help deal with stress or whatever, but that's not it at all. What Buddha discovered is that if you mash the impermanence, unsatisfactoryness, and non-self buttons in your brain enough times, you can unlock the infinite free happiness glitch. If done correctly, it literally just flips a switch in your brain that makes everything awesome. You have to perceive the three characteristics at the pixel level, not at the object level. Completely different level of abstraction than what philosophy deals with.

Woke up with sleep paralysis again.Not a dream and not necessarily paranormal, but I haven't been able to explain this one. My bed was against the wall, I had a notice board on the wall that I hadn't touched once with some pins stuck in it. I had just got a new laptop (maybe £1.6k) as a gift for beginning my degree. Silly me, I left the lid slightly open as I went to sleep. It was next to my bed on a lower-down cabinet. I woke up the next morning, turn on my laptop and there's a tiny pierced in the screen leaving the whole display broken, and I find a pin in my bed.Tell my Mum what's been happening and she tells me that she researched the place and it used to be a mental asylum, back when people with mental illnesses-
