The majority of them are just "I win" buttons. The anti-domain techniques are all stated to be garbage that buy you a few seconds of time at best. It's so bad that Gege had to introduce gimmicky Domains with Higurama and Hakari so he can do more with them because the rest are all too braindead and lethal. Megumi's Domain has to remain incomplete for similar reasons, so it can be more like a tool and not an automatic victory. Mahito would be the strongest in the verse if not for a very specific set of circumstances that leave Yuji untouchable.
