All you need to really see people's opinions is to push the hypothetical to their extreme limits.Who has a more "valid" opinion between two highly opinionated about anime in general, a guy who has watched zero anime in his life or some who has somehow watched all of them? The latter right? Which means quantity matters.Now between someone who watched all anime or someone who watched all anime minus one? Depends right? So quantity matters up to a pointAll that remains is to determine the values of the quantity that it stops mattering specifically. I would argue somewhere around 1000 different titles, at that point unless we are talking about a specific section of anime (specific genre, specific time frame, specific source material, etc...) where the quality of the titles watched matter, the person is 99% likely to have a decent view on animu in general terms and an opinion as valid as the guy who has watched 2000 or 3000.

What's the worst anime you've watched?
Other than the obvious trolls, half the people in this thread have barely seen 40 shows if your answers are genuine.There's genuine trash that even I didn't finish, like Kono Aozora and Gibiate, but of the ones I've struggled through Nogizaka Haruka Finale and Lamune come to mind, as does Toradora and Otonari Tenshi. Might as well add Ichigo 100% to the list too. When romcoms are bad, they are absolutely obnoxiously painfully bad. The number one spot goes to Hametsu no Mars, probably the only anime to deserve its rating on any amalgamation site anywhere.

Its a 3.5/10 series. At the end of the day it is just corporate slop. But the fans are quite frankly the worst aspect of this series. They gaslight you into into thinking it is deeper than it really is, and their only default is "the series is not bad, the internet just told you it is"
