Given the age of this show now, how were you first aware of it (if at all?) I'm old enough to have watched it in syndication, and this was after having watched the 90s show when I was very young, so I was a huge fan of both.Do you think it holds up?
>>151906412Yeh
I was a young teen and I liked it a lot then and I like it a lot now!
Why does Hollywood treat animation with contempt?

>>151901973It's more than a CGI fest. It's a great sci-fi fantasy story set on an alien planet with a fully developed ecosystem.

Previous >>151872697This time will be 2015Last time, live was chaotic for Darin. His adoptive father Fred had a stroke which, though he survived, left him confined to a wheelchair and with broken speech. The Fairgoods were also visited by Kerry, Fred's estranged daughter. If all that wasn't enough, Bio-Dad Frankie returned to Westview with his pal Lenny, hoping to capitalize on Lisa's Story to make a reality show about reuniting with his son. All efforts were rebuffed and with the help of his mother's friends, Frankie was forced to leave emptyhanded. But all wasn't bad for Jessica was pregnant and eventually gave birth to her and Darin's child, a boy named Skyler. She also got back to working on her documentary about her father and learned, unsurprisingly, that John Darling was an arrogant jackass. But after meeting with her father's killer she got the idea to watch some old family videos and learned that he at least had a soft spot for her. Satisied, Jessica decided not to release her documentary and instead take up work as a wedding videographer.Holly, missing her son, took up comic collecting in order to complete Cory's Starbuck Jones collection. While for Les, Lisa's Story had been optioned for a TV movie titled Lust for Lisa and he was given the opportunity to write the first draft of the script and flown out to Hollywood. However all the changes to the story took a toll on him and enacting his kill fee he managed to shut the whole thing down. On the plus side, he struck up a friendship with actor Mason Jarr who was now free to take up the lead role in the Starbuck Jones film so Les invited him to come to Westview to look up the Winkerbeans' collection so he could study for the role. But things continued their downward trajectory for Cindy who was aged out of working for ABC and instead sent to a Cleveland affiliate thus ending her career as a national newscaster.
>>151901671>>151901737Seems massively disrespectful of him to sell that collection that she put so much time and effort into without even talking about it first. Plus you'd think he'd have at least some money saved up. Like at least as much as you could fit into a cigar box.
>>151901271It was a fun story so I'll forgive it for doing the dream thing since that way I don't have to reconcile any of the really stupid stuff that would go with being canon
>>151907169It was just a cheap attempt to make the reader tihnk that Cory had returned back to his old ways now that he was back home for good.

bunny maloney could be an better show if it wasn't picked by moonscope or was made for an older audience or something else.obviously the show was meant for an older audience, which explains why there are sex jokes and mature themes in the final version, the short film was created as an anime parody for an french site studio tanuki back in 2002, and surprisingly that it got some awards, matt groening even congratulated mekolai for it, then the show got picked to moonscope and it went in development hell and was finished around 2008 and released in 2009, the problem is that moonscope used to own kabillion and that show wasn’t even meant for kids, but it was aired anyways, the demographic of the show was supposed to be 12-18 and the show was aired with an TV-Y7 rating despite the show containing sex jokes, an bit of swearing and scenes of weapons. but I also think it would be better if the show wasn’t picked by moonscope, or maybe an web series. I don’t know, people criticized western adult cartoons for their overuse of graphic violence, drugs, and sexual content, some adult shows has some berserk level violence, like with family guy and worse shows such as paradise pd and mr pickles, so I don’t really know if the show could be better if it was aired on adult swim or teletoon detour, maybe pick it to some canadian company but don’t make them that too mucg

Why don't writers know what to even do with her anymore? For quite some years she's basically just been 'woman' and portrayed as being over her head with everything going on.
