Would a female Homelander be morally better or worse than the male one?
>>152122927Cause cute I guess
>>152116330>Broken pelvisJust be glad she didn't get kno...oh. She got.
>>152120142Ironically, half of this is caused by them already having flipped the genders of Stillwell (and the Vought CEO presumably but I honestly don't remember an equivalent in the comics) and Stormfront. Starlight was also an obvious diversity hire, and immediately forced to put out by the team. Had none of those been switched, the set up for a Perfect Blue type spiral for a female Homelander is much more self apparent. The comics only sort of deal with what >>152119678 goes over anyway (it's all very "basically they're treated like eye candy" without much more examination), but it's pretty well done how Stillwell was handled, if perhaps on too meta of a level: he's the ultimate company man, and because he calm and cool and can recognize effort and ambition, you fully buy into his character and his romance with Jessica Bradley, only for the cruel reveal that their entire relationship was just another level of his cold blooded manipulation of things. His only truly human moment is the realization that the Supes are a complete and total dead end. Intrinsically doomed.Aside from that, he's the ultimate avatar of the very masculine ideal of the unflappable, completely competent man. Having this cliche essentially mansplain to FemLander in all of their scenes would be a weird, interesting spin on the dynamic, as would her interactions with more masculine, stereotypical world of the comic Boys.
>>152123474This also once again bring up the question. If Vought has the means to create Black Noir, would a female Homelander even end up being their top hero? Or would they take one look at her and decide to try again with a man. That could also be a very interesting dynamic. Her constantly pushing herself to prove that they were wrong to replace her. which could be even more interesting because if Noir still rapes Becky, then Homelander might become an ally to Butcher as both have a motive to kill her “brother”
>>152115618>vampire teethfor what purpose?
They are the best couple ever! Marvel always tries to destroy her, but she always comes back! this is a place for you to express your love for them together, not falsely claim she is a cheating whore.

>>152121801This character is a last ditch effort to get views via coomer-bait. You think he would do that episode 1 then lay it off once viewers are invested.
>>152123446Anon... She's literally the first important character that ever appeared in the show. What's last-ditch about her?
>>152123668OK, so I didn't watch it, so what? First episode coomer-bait.
>>152123668I think I dislike the character on the left the most. Totally out-of-place millenial quirk chungus dialogue-spewing abomination.
Just watched both these movies and I was surprised at how expressive the animation was, the small movements were really well done and I don't think I've ever really seen something like it in other animated movies.

Yeah, he is awful. He is a glowie and probably a war criminal. And what he has done to many characters and is currently doing to wonder woman is horrible. But i'm still curious, has this man been able to produce at least one (1[uno]) good comic? Some say The Visions is still passable because it came first before his formula got stale, others also praise his Mister Miracle, but i disagree hard on that one. What do you anons think is his best work?
>>152122363Agreed.

For a time, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi was Cartoon Network's biggest hit, being the next Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Lab in terms of how much of a craze it was, yet despite this, the craze stopped less than 2 years later. Just months after the Macy's Thanksgiving Day float, the two DVDs coming out, a toyline being released, and having a GBA game, the show was canned with 5 episodes unaired in the states. The last thing ever made for the show were costumes which were released in October 2006, but were being made months prior and by the time those were released, Cartoon Network stopped airing it periodI'd compare it to how CatDog was a craze with how it was everywhere back then along with Rugrats and yet, despite that, CatDog stopped at just 68 episodes, but atleast CatDog reran on Nick til like 2005, while Puffy was dropped less than 2 years after it came out

>>152122630Thank you, anon.Gage is really good at character work, I wish that series was longer so he could have worked a bit more on Kushala and the New Universe, Crossgen, etc, people. The only bad thing is that his Spider-Man sounds more like MCU Spidey than Ditko Spidey.
>>152123180Gage is from that generation of underrated 2000s/early 2010s writers who never really got above C-list because their stories aren't flashy enough. Him, Jeff Parker, Fred Van Lente, Sean McKeever as well but DC fucked his career up more than anything.
Where will Pym show up next? I'm decidedly not counting his "appearance" in today's Bendis story
What happened to this show?

Hm, ya know I recall people did whine about this show and wasnt of some changes (Deathstroke being one of them), but was thinking of giving it a fair shake.
