The first four were done by none other than one of the great modern cartoonists, Raina Telgemeier, best known for Smile and Drama. Takara basically made better movie designs than any of the movies so far but we haven't seen any of the toy-original designs animation except for the Machinima bullshit, and that stuff is just based off existing animation inspired designs anyway. I'd love for them to be able to really stretch their legs like Cybertron or Car Robots 2000. >.
