>be RorShaq>motto is "never compromise">compromises his moral code all the time>chooses to be a murderhobo because God's not real>believes there's inherent good and evil but also there's no divine distinction of morality and human law is the line>wants to expose Ozymandias because... uh, the people have to know because... uh... knowing is true and truth is good despite not there being inherent meaningRorShaq is kinda retarded, ngl. I don't get how he became the breakout character. When I was reading the book I found Manhattan to be the core of the book alongside Ozymandias. The others I saw as narrative devices. It's not that I didn't find all of them complex and fleshed out, Rorschach included, but his popularity stems from being "badass" and in my experience he was too retarded and inconsistent to be badass. Comedian was more of a "raw sigma" if one goes for the vibes. I guess the mask-&-trenchcoat outfit is so cool the GA just bypasses the rest. But dunno, for me, the protagonist of the book is either Ozymandias or Manhattan, and the "literally me" character IMO was Nite Owl.
>>153083524You do realize that christcuckoldry is made up bullshit for retards and peasants right? There is no inherent, objective "good" or "bad" regardless of whether you believe magic jewish skydaddy is real or not.
>>153083833There is a good apple and there is a bad apple. There are good people and there are bad.
>>153083524Wow, you're retarded and missed every single point in the book. Holy shit.Rorschach doesn't believe in god and doesn't believe good or evil inherently exists in any way whatsoever, but he WANTS them to exist so he will force them to exist by his own actions: he will enforce them like they exist because he wants them to exist and it's not like the universe's natural structure deserves any respect over what he imposes on it. That is the point of the reveal and he is VERY consistent about it. He literally believes in good and evil only in the way he personally defines those words and rejects everyone else's ideas. Imagine me drawing him as a gigachad here, I'm not going to bother.
>>153083709Somehow i think Veidts look are borrowed from Edward Fox in the Day of the Jackal.
>>153083524He wants to uncover the truth, judge the unworthy and avenge the dead ones.
Did they do a good job with Oscar's character arc?
>>153083480>This movie is not good but it's entertainingThat describes most Dreamworks movies.
i loved this movie as a child but re-visiting it, it just looks ugly as fuck. honestly a lot of films from this time just look like shit. well, specifically western 3d animated films. i think the best looking film ive watched when it comes to 3d western animation is probably 9
>>153084479actually, scrap this. the best western 3d animated film ive seen is probably fantastic mr fox. actually forgot that existed for a second.

>>153084030>Besides, there's way more good artists than good writers in comics.Hasn't been like that for a while and even before AIBesides, the mindset of "good art can't save bad writing" is why lots of things nowadays have both bad art AND bad writingNobody even knows what "good writing" is anywayIt's close to the same mindset that drove 90% of videogames copying movies
>>153085002>Nobody even knows what "good writing" is anywaySimple. Good writing is when I like it and it makes my dick hard. Bad writing is the opposite. Jokes aside, I'm tired of being lectured to about "good" and "bad" writing by people who fell asleep during high school literature class and get all of their "knowledge" from pseudo-intellectual video essayists.
>>153076897op you should know that you're on a board where people discuss the ugliest cartoons for kids (and manchildren) and want to fuck ugly, badly drawn characters just check the catalog to see how low the standards are

Talk about the movie, or just Superman in general. I'll start: What are some cool stuff you hope they add to The Fortress of Solitude in Man of Tomorrow? You can see the anvil in the background, why not a proper alien zoo? What about Kelex?
>>153083828It sucks because that's one of the most interesting aspects as far as I'm concerned. Superman should be lonely, at least to start off with. He's a man of two worlds living two lives trying to find a way to belong while being himself.
>>153083850I feel like it undermines Ma and Pa a bit too. I always liked him having them around. It's nice to give the hero someone to confide in but also keep the secret identity thing.
>>153083883Personally I prefer when they die before he leaves Smallville. I like it better when Superman is on his own trying to manage his own problems and neuroses, often in not very healthy ways. Also it makes the split between Clark and Superman more tangible when they're not around.
>>153083326Yeah, Tomorrow Man fits him more than being full Superman related to.
>>153081325Superman son is a homo
How come beach episodes aren't a thing in western cartoons? The Simpsons, Hey Arnold and Dexter are the only shows I remember when beach episodes.
>>153084475>Texan who has never see more water than a public poolhuh?
>>153085066I live near beaches and sea turtles. It happens less than you think and it comes in seasons that are predictable. It also happens with certain migratory birds, but if the city planned ahead, those areas are designated in the first place.
does Daria count? There's one in the intro to the movie
And then there's goose and gull shit which contains e.coli meaning the beach is a petri dish.
