So I am writing a fanfic of an avatar, but I am stuck on one question. Let's say there's an avatar, and it's found out he's the one and he is trained in an elite military academy. However, he's been training only for about a month. Would he be able to beat a competent bender who has been training for 5 years? Even if the avatar has control over the 4 elements, like in my story, the chances are low, probably 6 out of 10 times, the bender would win, maybe even 7 out of ten right?
