Ok listen, here's the thing. When I was working as a web dev, my company had a customer who was into education and stuff. His customers were some Chinese engineering schools or so. That customer got us to maintain their online education software and I was in charge for the websites on the Alibaba cloud. I had to deploy state pki and maintain the accounts.

So anyways, we had to install on EVERY site of the Chinks a workflow or collaboration plugin. Every fucking blog article, photo, resource etc had to be acknowledged by some CCP official. An school employee would write it, the principal then request acknowledgment from the CCP office, who checked if they didn't write about Tiananmen Square or something and then they were allowed to publish it worldwide.

What do you think they have to go through to release a capable image model that can do porn or contain other stuff that's illegal in China...?

Oh and if the Chinese contractors fucked up, and they did often enough, first blame was ALWAYS someone else. They even forgot to pay for the whole fucking Alibaba cloud and 10 or so schools websites went offline overnight. I had to fix that at 2am in the morning. Of course first it was our fault until I went through the messages on Alibaba showing them that THEY forgot to take care for their payment processor.
Chinese culture. Yes the Chinks are retarded like that, all of them. I am glad I don't have to deal with their bullshit professionally anymore.

Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

thats a fine solution, but it looks like it would be cumbersome to use. the data's type is not known by the "vector". things like accessing elements would be annoying because you will have to do pointer casts manually, as i would assume it returns a void*.

Spent $160 which seems like a lot for headphones, but I've given up on trying to repair HS60's and I those M50X's were only ever borrowed.

Hopefully they'll be good enough for audio production and that the bass won't be too off.

50-100€ ~ 140€ is a stretch that would bankrupt me as a student
>What exactly you're looking for (be as detailed as possible)
Looking for durable headphones for home gaming/music/surfing the web. Probably something I would wear the entire day. Wired. Don't even know if I should take open or closed back because at home it's relatively quiet all day round. I liked closed-back headphones, but I’ve had issues wearing them all day because my ears feel too hot and sealed and I want something breathable and comfortable that I can wear long sessions without it messing up my ears.
>Previous gear and your thoughts on it
ATH-M40x. Very nice, maybe the sound was too tight and closed. Last summer it was pain on my ears. One side of the speakers died so I was gonna buy these again if I don't have a sound advice on why I should pick something else (which I hope in).

I dont need endgame gear, and I dont play on doing any EQ tuning. I do have an audio interface that helps pump up the audio quality but im just going to use the headset for gaming, spotify and discord so im not such an audiophile, just a hpg visitor.

What is better: a 14" or a 16" MacBook Pro? I can't decide. It's unironically too difficult to decide. On one hand, I would prefer the larger display, on the other hand I use my laptop exclusively when I can't use my PC to do something, which means I need a laptop for use around the house and carry it outside first and foremost. I absolutely do not want to use an external monitor almost ever though.

>MBP
Tough choice, both are legit.
>more portable, on-the-go computing? 14"
>churn performance to the most? 16"
If the question is MBA, very easy. Always go 13" (15" is kinda wasteful)
My personal rule is:
-only own one laptop: 14" with decent specs
-own two laptops: 12/13" detachable/ultrabook with bare minimum specs & 16" maxed out workstation (assume won't own a desktop)

>>107850705
Heavy, not really. MBP problem is a bit more of dimension than weight. 16" MBP isn't much heavier than 14" MBP. Most compact bags could fit 14" MBP easily while 16" might not.
If you can carry around typical big gaming laptop around. 16" MBP is fucking nothing. Some brands offer bags/backpacks specifically designed for MacBook in mind, choices are plenty.
>>
>>107851098
the 16 inch macbook pro is smaller and lighter than the pre 2016 15 inch macbook pro. the thick bezels make the 15 inch mbp bigger than the the 16 one
