You are getting ripped off, 24€ is too much for this model.
>>107889663
Considering that usually the outputs are wired in parallel and all 3 headphones were quite low impedance once (like 20-30 Ohm) the real load could have been like 6-8 Ohm or even lower, so a blowout is not something unimaginable.
>>
>>107890261
>a blowout is not something unimaginable.
I kinda doubt that. The spec sheet says the DX5II is rated for what, 7.6W per channel into 16 Ohms? Clearly the thing's got plenty of current handling ability.

Supposedly the person had an early batch unit and the later batches don’t have this problem. I am not about to plug three headphones into mine to test this out though.

Do any of you know if there's a device that takes an AM/FM radio signal and puts it out through coaxial S/PDIF? Preferably for less than 30 dollarydoos and WITHOUT any bloated bluetooth/wifi streaming feature creep. Nearest I've found are DVD home theater centers from like 2005, but exceptionally few of them actually have the digital coax out.
>why do you want this?
Local radio is based.
>why this configuration specifically?
My setup is pretty retarded, but I have a free floating digital coax input and quick access to radio would be neat.

>Mozilla had to break it's tried and true internal security to do sandboxing and e10s with interprocess communication. This has left the Mozilla of today with weak internal security and the sandbox leaks like a sieve and constantly has sec issues focused at it along with the WebEx impl. Indeed, the very thing that we don't allow by design is actually something Mozilla is trying to introduce on top of everything else that has gone wrong over there... And of course more holes in any remaining old style security and their new sandbox needs to be punched to accomplish this.

>SO.. IF they are STRICTLY talking about the state of their own old style security today VS their new shit.. It MIGHT be "better" from the perspective that they have broken the old security and at that specific moment they have resolved some major issues in their NEW security. But it is all manipulative and indeed transitory. They have to keep punching holes in it so the feature of the day works and their old style security isn't compatible with it at all.. because what they are doing now is ill-advised at best and stupid insane at worse.

>HOWEVER, if they say their new sandbox and security model is superior to US.. Well they are just outright lying or talking out their ass because they likely never understood how the older but intact model worked because the people who wrote it have long since been purged. Or both.

>Bottom line is.. At any given point over a protracted period of time they are either breaking security or fixing security. While we... We just stay secure.

Anyway I was taking a shit. Here's a more elaborate response.
Even in a back shelf drugstore erotica novel 99% of the text isn't sex scenes.
When people ERP on forums, 99% of the text isn't sex scenes.
Even when people ERP in conversations on discord you don't have shit where one person says "ahh ahh mistress" and then the other is expected to write a torrent of lascivious filth.
Like people expect these gradiose, zero effort RPs from models that in no way resemble any kind of human authored text and then wonder why models fail at it.
>give me the smut without the buildup, the dialogue, the call and answer, the introspection, etc.
In what universe does this text exist to even train a model on?
It's like the retards with their rose colored goggles about c.ai
The reason it had soul was because it was new and people hadn't yet developed this zero effort race to the bottom approach to rping with chatbots. So people actually typed to it like they would type to someone they met on discord and everyone knows that shit was trained on private discord data. So the response was more human-like.
Now people type to an LLM like it's a smut dispenser, or whatever they want and they wonder why the response is less humanlike. Because humans don't fucking operate like that. Nowhere is there a piece of organic human writing in the pretraining data that works like that. Other than customer support call center logs.
>>
>>107890492
there is little consistency in your prompt. write it like
>this is a roleplay between user and char. write normal paragraphs but focus on dialog over descriptions and lists. don't write for user, only write for char.

The zapper looks stupid because of 80s moral panic, the original Famicom gun is a revolver. That said, even the zapper feels vaguely gun like in the hand, which no VR turd does. If you now point to the zapper clone that you can bolt a tracker to that doesn't actually work right anymore because Valve deleted half the features of the trackers, I'm going to laugh at you.

If VR actually had games that were even half as good as the worst light gun title I can think of, you might have a point. Unfortunately, VR is completely devoid of content, and even the absolute minimum level shit I thought would be an option when I wasted money on a headset, like being able to play Time Crisis in VR, never really came to fruition. Now please, tell me all about EmuVR so I can shit on you for talking about that too.

I can see a lot of what you describe as novel things that are explored in venues like Dave and Busters. I don’t see people buying AR equipment like the Meta Glasses to experience it themselves. AR would have to be practical in ways a smartphone isn’t. Showing directions on your face while you’re walking around could be useful, but is that so revolutionary when you could just get a smart watch?

>>107886681

I think you overestimate what people are willing to pay for something like this. Even if it did those things at $250 the average person isn’t going to go for it. Do you think they know what higher resolution passthrough even means?

>>107886698

Zuckerberg got lightning in a bottle with Facebook and was wise to have it start in colleges and fan out. Starting with a dedicated use case and consumer base (college students talking to each other willing to give up their personal information) was genius. Having it fan out from college students to their families? Diabolical. He won’t be able to strike it big like that again.

Docker only works for individual applications.
LXC/LXD are system containers, meaning you have services, logs, scheduled tasks, and so on, just like in a real OS.

>modprobe -r thinkpad_acpi
>modprobe thinkpad_acpi fan_control=1
And start the thinkfan.service everytime I boot. Wiki says something about generating initramfs manually but I'm confused by it. How do I do that?
>>
>>107890349
So if I want to run... idk a tor gateway or i2p router in a container to be used with other software (lets say, a web browser)
is better to run these services/applications as multiple dockers that communicate with each other (with docker compose) or run them in a single / multiple lxc container(s)?

I guess what I'm also getting at is, apart from portability reasons, why is docker more popular if you can do the same with lxc with all the benefits of system containers? Being lightweight can't be the reason since you can use alpine for lxc and I don't see it as inherently more secure since it runs as root ....
>>
>>107890539
it is never always better to use one over the other, or else both wouldn't exist

>why is docker more popular if you can do the same with lxc with all the benefits of system containers?
time to market, LXD is younger than docker, config for LXC containers pre LXD was more tedious which is a problem Docker solved, as it was originally based on LXC

why wouldn't it be fixable? Use more flux and re-wet those legs. the melting solder should contract on the leg.
>>
>>107889801
i should have looked closer. you may have to remove some of the solder mask from those traces in front of the legs so you can actually get something down. it also looks like you don't have enough heat in the solder you are using. you may also try a tiny bit of wire from the (lightly) scraped back traces to the legs that are broken off.

i have no idea how i'm supposed to respond to the text of your post so i'll just respond to the image you posted. your soldering looks shitty and there might be a poor/intermittent connection.

put some flux on the leads of the IC, and reflow the solder with a tinned tip. if there's too much solder after reflowing then clean it up with some solder wick. if your solder wick isnt working, put flux onto the wick and use a heavily tinned tip on the wick.

pic related is through hole but you get the idea.
