Why does the PS5 get so much hate again? It's a cheap choice for playing modern games that have sloppy PC ports. Unlike PC, PS5 uses fixed/standard hardware that the game can be specifically optimized for.
>>107629346>s a cheap choice for playing modern gamesWhy would you need to play modern games though?

I'm LMAOing so hard over the tards who said AM5 early adopters are dumb.
>>107626250Why would you admit to having a lowly 7700X and pretend like it's some kind of flex
>>107620274These tards will really do anything but buy an LGA 1700 DDR4 rig. Hell even a DDR5 LGA 1700 rig is cheap compared to AM5. A fool and his money are soon parted I suppose.
>>107630879The AMD good Intel bad sentiment has well cemented itself at this point. Lots of people pretend Intel doesn't even exist anymore. Even if LGA 1700 is objectively the best platform for DDR4, people still act like AM4 is the only option. Honestly at this point I say just let the retards keep over paying for 5000 series and keep Intel at a good value for the educated people.
>>107628963>2 dollars for a 2630 v4i mean it's a piece of shit but that's impressive
>>107630879I can't really blame them, Intel handled the seppuku cpus pretty poorly, and they gaslit everybody for a long time before they actually fixed it (which wasn't completely resolved until the 12F microcode from january this year so far anyway) first reports of degrading cpus are from like 2022, so they litterally sat on their hands for a year, and didn't fully fix it for over 2 years.

JFK didn't accomplish anything. Didn't even serve 1 term before inting. He doesn't deserve the praise he gets, doesn't deserve any coins or airports. Growing up in USA public schools, you would think JFK was one of the most important Presidents, he's lauded like Washington or Lincoln but the dude accomplished nothing except stealing one election and dying
>>107626783>Obama = UbuntuFits not because of the tagline, but because both were community-oriented and focused on accessibility and openness.>macOS = KennedyAlso fits because both were mostly about aesthetics and marketing and Kennedy came from an elite background just as macOS is sponsored by a trillion dollar corporation. “Not everyone could afford it” doesn't make sense for the macOS-Kennedy comparison though. What does “Not everyone could afford Kennedy” even mean?>Windows 95 = ReaganWindows 95 sold personal computing to the masses just as Reagan sold conservatism to the masses. Both also had very enthusiastic fans and memorable marketing. That's why they fit together. While had memory issues (kek), neither were best known for that and are still viewed favorably in the public eye.>MS-DOS = JacksonLots of OS's have no GUI. Why does MS-DOS in particular suit Jackson?>Windows XP = Eisenhower"Boring and stable" describes Windows 2000 more than XP. XP had the Luna theme, Rover the search companion, and Windows Movie Maker. "Won't leave" is accurate for XP though. Eisenhower still had lots of supporters decades after leaving office just as Windows XP still had lots of users decades after being released. I have a PG32UCDM OLED, but I'm on Windows 10 which means no RTX HDR and terrible presentation of SDR content and windows itself if HDR is enabled. So I tend to keep it off. Sorry but I can't imagine RTX HDR is worth upgrading to Windows 11.
>>107630614*if you're poor
>>107629857It kinda does become meaningless for contrast ratios beyond a certain point. As it inversely describes minimum brightness, a halving of minimum brightness equates to a doubling of contrast ratio. At some point, minimum brightness is so low that any additional halving results in an imperceptible change in the actual image whatsoever but an exponentially increasing number on the box.
>>107630710Literally why I upgraded to 11 from 10, when I bought my OLED. Same shit Windows wise and looks, feels and works exactly like 10 after a few minor configuration edits, but at least the HDR support is miles better.
>>107630103It's not "throw away your perfectly good existing TV or Phone" worth it but it is "you should consider HDR capabilities in your next purchase" worth it.

>>107630577laser will not give you photo quality like an inkjet but for everything else even a cheap one will do the job. keep in mind that the toner cartridges can be expensive but nowhere near as bad as buying ink.>have a Canon LBP7660cdn i got secondhand, it's ancient but works perfectly
Recently bought a new ASUS ROG STRIX G18 laptop and the sound is awfulTried lots of software and drivers but managed to make it barely presentable with FXsoundAny idea how to fix this shit?
>>107630577toner quality doesn't matter, toner is just a powder of microplastics that the laser melts on to your paperbut the printer needs high dpi for photo quality
>>107630862>>107630577for completeness sake, laser printers are not /photo/ printers. if you want photo quality prints then you're looking at dye sublimation printersthough that's usually overkill unless your primary purpose is printing photos
