Zoomer here. I heard from my teacher today that phones used to have a slot like the sim card one where you could put in those digital camera memory sd cards in it. Why did no one complain when this happened?
>>107849360Yeah no shit, the cloud is literally someone else's computer. We are putting faith into the privacy policy/terms of service agreement in which we agree to, and the laws set forth by our local, federal or international govt. Your data is safe under layers of proven encryption. Apple iCloud, Windows OneDrive, and Google Android Photo Album have had ZERO non internal breaches, any cases documented were phishing or user error. Unless you have something to hide like C-S-A-M on your cloud drives, you have nothing to fear. That's the only thing they're scanning for. This actually helps rid society of degenerates so you should be praising cloud storage tech
>>107849384>making up these excuses>instead of microsd cards just being faster that will benefit everyone in every scenario no matter how nicheok
>>107849310>The majority of phones sold today have sd card slots. The only ones that don't are the overpriced fashion accessory models.Nta but it's almost impossible to find good phone with good specs, SD card support AND LineageOS support. You'll find either budget models, or no SD card, or no Lineage/custom rom.And faggots like these don't make market situation any better>>107849145>>107849226>>107849220>>107849221
>>107849366>Sure I can't have both network backups (on my self-hosted server that won't force me to pay every month HDD price for a storage space) and SD cards because some crapple ishill told so.The average normal person will not be doing that, my whole point...sure you can do it, more power to you but you're not part of the dragnet targeted audience. Most are reliant on cloud computing storage and don't have the ability or knowledge to do it other than signing into their Google or iCloud account for auto syncing, instead of doing it on a PC OS that will sync it anyways
Are zoomers too young to remember that using SD cards on Android was total shit? It's not a surprise not many cared when it was taken away. It was the reason that I started self-hosting cloud storage.
If you could obtain any program source code, what would it be?
>>107848845The bigger issue is sugar vs corn syrup.Real coca cola uses corn syrup, his recipe calls for sugar.Again, another difference, and yes taste testers can often taste the difference (corn syrup actually tastes better than sugar). If your taste testers can't tell, it's because they aren't good taste testers.

Are bone-conductive headphones any good? Being able to listen to stuff while having full hearing sounds pretty appealing
>>107839058Never used them myself but as I understand they're no good for music or entertainment, they're basically only useful for listening to spoken word type of content. If you want good sound quality while still hearing your surroundings you should just get open headphones, some of them don't really block sound at all.
>>107849009quick, stick your dick in it
>>107849029>>107849040Nta. I actually own a pair and both of the sound you hear is from the ear piece vibrating loud enough to hear the audio. Some of the DOES the conducted through your ear but most of it is just the out-out-ear earpiece vibrating. If you plump both of your ears while listening with them the sound quality gets noticably worse. Like a lot worse because it's muffled. Models like mine in pic rel (Shokz OpenRun Pro 2) have tiny speaker grills on them which lead to better sound quality so unless you're trying to swim with them just go for models like this. He's correct in saying the "bone conduction" marketing is kinda misleading >If you use ear plugs or just shove your fingers over your ears the volume and bass increase significantlyNo...they do not. The exact opposite happens. You do not get bone conduction earbuds for bass. That's the one area they're all very bad at, even ones like mine that have have tiny speakers along with vibration.
>>107848202Dumbass, its pretty obvious when people are wearing earbuds and are on the phone. Especially if the buds are white and ESPECIALLY if you have bone conduction earbuds that wrap around your head
>>107849257>earbuds that wrap around your headAhh yes. Natures way of identifying the douche bag. Mother Earth based like that.

>>107849164 Somehow my z-image gens never have that noise texture. >>107847083>>107849235I am running on shift 6 with Euler beta and the images come out smooth with details enough. Seed variance btw can also influence the details variance in the image by injecting random (true Gaussian) noise between the steps.z-image noise is quite compressed and has a grainy/flake structure. The sampler has to iron that out.
>>107849302All loras destroy z-image quality quite strongly. More so if you use more than one. Only way to circumvent that is to run the lora with a really low weight while hoping that enough of that lora still comes through.
>>107849339> to run the lora with a really low weight while hoping that enough of that lora still comes through.chinese culture is SEEPING through here (They can't do anything new, only copy white man, poorly)
>>107849328>I am running on shift 6 with Euler beta and the images come out smooth with details enough. That's because shift 6 is pretty big for beta, since base beta without shift already has a slope at the start. So that results in a zitdpo-heavy look, which for zit means jpeg artifacts and blockiness. So there is no free lunch. But I personally prefer jpegs over zit noise. Zit noise is ruinous and at this point is much the same as openai yellow tint.

All these fags making bimbo looking sex dolls into robots. But why not do what futurama did where its just a plain robot and then they overlay the identity overtop. Now granted we cant do that but with ar or vr goggles why not have a character model superimpose on a blank robot like joi and that hooker?Maybe add hair and clothing of similar mesh so u can twirl ur girls hair or w.e. but beyond that it doesnt even need eyes and shit. Its all presented in vr goggles. So question how long until a proto holodexk. Where i can create on demand a virtual 3d space like a white villa on a fruitger aero blue beach surrounded by ocean. With a cute emo blonde girl with eyeliner that then i can snuggle with, dance, pick up, and obv smash her puss. Like 2 to 3 years?

>>107847329No. While we were busy fighting among ourselves we could have been developing technologies for interplanetary and inter solar travel. Instead we fucked around and did pretty much fuck all with development. We use the same tech now as we always have. Consequently becoming inter stellar is a joke. For perspective, the voyager space probes are billions of miles away and are the farthest man made objects in existence. They were launched in the 70's. They are not even remotely close to inter-stellar. They are just barely in "deep space" now. If we launched something today, anything, it would take more than a century to get anywhere but in that century of flying it will still be nowhere near inter stellar. Not in a thousand years, not in 10 thousand, not a 100 thousand years will we be close. We are retarded chimps on a planet of rock with our dicks in our hands.
