>buy new keyboard for $350
>"you can customize your keyboard keys online"
the fuck? what happened to actual software?
>>
Are you talking about the Moonlander? Technically you can use something call QMK to flash it but it's not nearly as convenient.
Yeah, I don't know why they don't just take their webapp and make it a react native app either.
>>
>>107874218
QMK can run locally on your machine, it's still webshit because nobody under the age of 45 knows how to write native systems applications anymore./
>>
>>107874218
What's the matter? Don't you have a browser? Why would you rather install an app for something you're only gonna do one time when you first get your keyboard?
>>
>>107874359
>something you're only gonna do one time
>he hasn't taken the keyboard tranny pill

Who's going to tell him?

Algorithmic generation of music "in the style" of something has been around forever. I have this box that takes a MIDI in and has a MIDI out, it has cartridges which each contain a "style" which has variations which can be triggered, and it will follow your changes in tempo, key, and time signature. It was made in the early '90s, and expected you to hook up a General MIDI tone generator to its MIDI out - it had no tone generator. The same technology is used today with that EON app by JMJ which just generates infinite tunes in the style of Jarre. It descends from my box's tech. Sadly I don't have more than the jazz cart which was in it when I got it, but I got ahold of the guy who invented it, a retired music professor, and he sent me a whole bunch of stuff about it so I might be able to hack up a cart. It's just ROMS on the cartridge holding a program.

THAT's cool. And if people are using "AI" to make MIDI stems you'll probably never know it. It will sound better at least, assuming a proper human can hook everything up and patch the synths etc. properly.

I just realized that Krita, which is a part of KDE, does not support Wayland, which KDE is planning on using exclusively in the future. WTF?
>>
>>107873811
wayland just like rust is a psyop, i don't get why more and more people keep falling for that meme.
>>
Any Void Linux users here? How is it these days?

You probably want Font Awesome.

>Just use LUKS.
Different use case. There are 100 times more devices using fscrypt than LUKS, and that's a very conservative estimate.
>>
>>107873811
KDE is a huge umbrella.
Plasma is the desktop environment and Krita/GCompris/Kdenlive/Falkon/Lokalize aren't part of Plasma, but part of KDE.
Only Plasma announced that it will drop X11 in a future version, other KDE projects decide on their own.

Why is YouTube's UI basically unusable now? What kind of incompetent retard thought it would be a good idea to put text and icons over video with barely any background behind it?

Thanks for saving me $20 dollars monthly, assholes.
>>
>>107871924
I used YouTube Redux so my UI doesn't look like that. Besides that the video player fully supports keyboard shortcuts so you don't have to click around on shit anyways. But yeah the design is trash. It's a Google product. What's new these days?

how are you holding up with the best thinkpad ever made

>>107872304
you have a point and yeah it's a shame. the main reason i kept the x230 around this long is because of how good the trackpoint + three button mouse combo feels to use, but sadly the average consumer would rather lift both hands off the keyboard and use the trackpad like a tard
>>
>>107872392
Real human beings use a mouse, actually.
Why are you not? Are you laying in bed, or something? Are you just too poor to afford a desk?
>>
my 8gb ram x230 with linux works faster on browsers and work apps than my recent gaming pc with wangblows 11
>>
It's a comfy bed laptop. Still haven't gotten around to installing a 5Ghz Wi-Fi card though. Can't be assed to flash the bios just for that. Also I think the cards aren't that cheap.

While inconvenient, you just have to find that shape that only appears once.
And yeah, the beta crashing sucks. I want to stick to one. And I don't mind bugs here and there, but full crashing sucks.
>>
>>107874290
You can install 1.3.36.0 beta on top of it, and switch to board mode, then update. Or stay on 1.3.36.0 beta until this crash gets fixed.

Thanks. I don't remember Android allowing me to downgrade apps like that, I take it's something on the app's side?

when you're picking boards to add a filter to, if there are more boards than fit vertically on screen then the button to confirm it gets pushed off the screen. you can work around it by filtering away the others, but it's still a bug i guess
