nta but i find it helpful to clear context sometimes, when you have most things working or made good progress. rewrite your instructions to cover what your program is supposed to do. i number mine
>1. this is my program for blahblah that does x
>2. recently i added y feature.
>3. help me add a new feature that does this and that.

i've had good luck with talking naturally to the models but i think lists are more consistent when i want something specific, also easier to rewrite when i clear context. the biggest thing, specially with small code models, is not to argue with it when it gets something wrong. the newer qwen 3 coder a3b will literally just reprint what it last tried because its so dumb. but if you give it 1 try with clear instructions and reroll rather than telling it that it got it wrong, its much more likely to get it right. larger models, even the older qwen 2.5 coder but also llama 3 70b, devstral, you can argue with a bit get a good back and forth going about how to move forward.
>>
>>107616460
That kind of conversation gets really old eventually ime. My eyes glazed over reading that screenshot because it's roughly the same tone as every big model in 2025. They all fall into the same tropes in casual chat mode and the outputs start to look practically indistinguishable.
It's fun until you get completely sick of it though.

You need a google account to download apps from google servers. You are not required to download them from google. And if you don't you don't need a google account.

00s flip phones didn't have app stores so it doesn't even apply.

If you don't want any google apps preinstalled just install an alternative android distro like GrapheneOS.

Correct
>If you don't want any google apps preinstalled just install an alternative android distro like GrapheneOS.
LineageOS or even just ADBdebloating are enough for most users, no need for an OS that can only be installed on Google's hardware

WTF bros I installed the Trellis2 comfyui custom nodes and I get this shit when I try to load the workflow.

Also tried just clone the repo but they're using torch 2.6 which doesn't support Blackwell GPUS afaik (only goes up to CUDA 12.6) and when I try to just swap the Torch version in place I get errors :(
>>
>>107615851

If your on the newest version of comfyui, they kinda fucked everything up and tons of custom nodes and stuff don't work anymore and just give errors. I have a bunch I have tried to download, put in my custom node folder and they simply don't even show up like whats happening in yours.

A few days ago I was lurking and an Anon had built something that takes image inputs and an optional prompt with instructions what to do with it and runs them through a vision LLM which then outputs a sloppy prompt to pipe into Z-Image.
Sadly I don't know when this was or which lineage of /ldg/ it was. If that Anon is still around, what vision model did you use? I want to try replicating this setup with stable-diffusion.cpp and llama.cpp.

Someone also posted an LLM prompt template for prompt enhancement.

Dumb people are going to be dumb.

I have an acquaintance who I've gotten into two AI arguments with. She's a firm anti AI person, despite never having used it. She tried to tell me how AI works, even though I've literally made machine learning programs before, and also tried to tell me that it's "SLAVE LABOR!" But in the same breath she also says "AI is just a word guesser."

I kept trying to calmly explain to her how AI actually works, but she called me a "techno machine God worshipper". I left after that.

Dumb people are going to be dumb.

It's really too bad everyone has an equal voice on the internet. It gives these dumbasses way too much weight.

Don't buy anything OTHER THAN IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T, X, and W/P Series if you want the Real Business Experience™

Why ThinkPad?
>Used machines are plentiful and cheap
>Excellent keyboards, tactile feel and quiet + the TrackPoint
>Great durability: magnesium roll cage for structural integrity, with high quality plastic body panels
>Utilitarian design: e.g. indicator LEDs, 7 row keyboard layout on older models
>Docking stations that easily turns your laptop into a desktop
>Easy to repair (most models), upgrade & maintain thanks to readily available service manuals for every model, spare parts easy & cheap to obtain
>Excellent Linux & *BSD support

No retard, its not. Everything is made in china, luxury car-parts are made in china, Commercial jetliner components are made in china, your argument is based on an absurdity. China ships alot of junk made in vietnam and other SEA-countries now too you realise?

Just admit that you have never sat in one, you're too poor to afford one/too stingy about the wrong things. If eating Twinkies was the cheapest way for you to get your daily calorie intake, would you just eat that garbage everyday?

Not to mention, they're not lightweight at all, my Boulies chair was over 80kgs in the box. Retard. You wanna save on a computer chair and get something dirt cheap thats not terrible? camping/outdoor chairs, that's a non-retarded suggestion for you to use next time.

>>107615625

Dumb question:
I’ve got about 10 acres of land I need to survey, looking for a drone with a half decent down facing camera, waypoints, and automatic photo trigger
Would be nice to just deploy it, have it to fly around, take a bunch of photos, and return to base without much effort, basically, got damaged in strong winds or after storms.

Failing that, at least something with a down facing camera and photos with 400 feet of range, curious if there’s any consensus on half decent outdoor drones these days?
