there's no reason to expose yourself to the toxic fumes if you can't think of a need to have one.you can just send your design to a print farm if you just have very casual needs and don't want to buy a full printer.
I've been tempted to buy one for brass/bronze casting. Basically you print your plastic piece, set it in plaster, heat it in the oven to melt the plastic out and pour hot metal in.Done a bit of this with wax, but it's very time consuming.

If I should either put another portrait panel on an arm like the one on the right (got a second one, same model) or a CRT on a stand for /vr/ (got several to choose from too). Panel is more useful for general usage, but it would be nice to use my main desktop for /vr/ too. Both would be too convoluted already, I'd need to switch too between them and I'd end up hating it instead.

Any version of Windows since 1995 has been more polished, production-ready and user-friendly than any Linux distro ever made. That's obvious to anybody who has installed both of them on the same machine. Are Linux users just lying about their distros being a better experience than a Windows installation?

my dell latitude 5410's battery has been slowly dying over these past 6 months, lasts about 3 minutes unplugged (if battery saver is on it lasts for 10), also runs really hot (i7-10610U), should i buy a new battery or just switch to a thinkpad? if so, where should i buy one? i live in taco country so eBay is not an option (yes it is, but they charge more than 80 usd if shipped from anywhere that isnt here) i saw that amazon refurb is really bad, also would really appreciate on which one i should get, i kind of just use my computer to jerk off, play music and videos on youtube, do some stuff on msoffice and play some games sometimes (left 4 dead). if anyone could help i'd really appreciate it
You guys are still buying these things?
>>107631828That's still a fairly new-ish laptop imo. I would just get a new battery. If you haven't replaced your thermal paste with a thermal pad like Honeywell PTM7950/Thermal Grizzly phasesheet (supposedly the same thing), then consider doing so. Undervolting your cpu should also help. OKAY???!!!!!oh btw don't use the new kernels, oh and if your laptop has an IGPU and a DGPU (90% of laptops), they're probably going to be too old for linux support :)Why are Linuxfags such filthy liars? Yeah I love setting up a command first hand for everything I launch because A: Linux doesn't support the BIOS firmware and B: Igpu might shit itself from just opening up a youtube video because its too retarded to understand the concept of igpus and dgpus like windows does.Linux is dogshit for most older laptops. why do cordless vacuums still suck?
It is their purpose.
>>107630202you get more reliable and signifiacantly more juice from the wall
>>107630202>why do cordless vacuums still suck?Because that's their job!but yeah, I get what you mean. Vacuums in general are stupid. if you go corded, they're underpowered and you constantly have to change bags. If you wanna skip that shit and go shop vac you've just exchanged underpowered because underpowered with underpowered because filter is clogged, so you're now constantly cleaning your filter (and thereby inhaling all the shit you don't wanna inhale) instead of constantly changing bags. Maybe a really pro-tier one with cyclone and autoclean is better, but fuck spending 1k for a vacuum! And "robots"? You've either got some dumb machine that's bumping around your room randomly and you now have to spend the time you saved vacuuming with tidying up your room so the "robot" can do its thing, or you buy a smart one, but now even more of your life's details are in the hands of google, the CIA, NSA and a few more glowies, plus the CCP and it's various companies (but of course you still have to vacuum all the parts the robot can't do by hand).
i have one and it sucks sufficiently.what are you trying to suck?
>>107630202Power density limitations. You don't want it to be too heavy, so that limits the size of the battery packs, which limits the amount of power you can draw to run the motor. Also motor size is limited. But for a lot of people, it's just fine. If it isn't for you, don't buy one.
