Thanks to the guy who mentioned org-sbe in the last thread. With that information, I was able to figure out a way to do conditional tangling based on the state of a list of org checkboxes.

#+begin_src elisp :tangle (if (seq-contains (read (org-sbe feature-choices)) "[X] evil") "/tmp/tangle.el" "no")

READ THE (temp)WIKI! & help by contributing:

/hsg/ is about learning and expanding your horizons. Know all about NAS? Learn virtualization. Spun up some VMs? Learn about networking by standing up a OPNsense/PFsense box and configuring some VLANs. There's always more to learn and chances to grow. Think you’re god-tier already? Setup OpenStack and report back.

>What software should I run?
Install Gentoo. Or whatever flavor of *nix is best for the job or most comfy for you. Jellyfin/Emby/Plex to replace Netflix, Nextcloud to replace Googlel, Ampache/Navidrome to replace Spotify, the list goes on. Look at the awesome self-hosted list and ask.

>Why should I have a home server?
De-botnet your life. Learn something new. Serving applications to yourself, your family, and your frens feels good. Put your tech skills to good use for yourself and those close to you. Store their data with proper availability redundancy and backups and serve it back to them with a /comfy/ easy to use interface.

Raw, though I don't remember doing that. In fact it doesn't let me change it to anything besides raw when going to create a new disk on a zfs type storage.
I wanted to minimize what's running on the hypervisor, and this lets pbs handle all of the backups.
>>107660434
Yeah I'm thinking it's some cache getting filled and then breaking for some reason, because there's no issue when transfers are small, or slow. So torrenting, which doesn't really go above 35MB/s on the download even when I have many going at the same time doesn't encounter any issues, and it can write as much as it likes. I checked the write cache with hdparm, but it says it's not supported on the disk.

MacOS uses 4x scaling.
So if you want a 2560x1440 deskyop, you need a 5120x2880 resolution screen.
>>
4k is only good for 19-23" monitors since its 1080p @ 200% ..

for 24-28" monitors you need 1440p @ 200% (5k)

fractional scaling like 150 or 125% looks like shit.

anon... did you try reading the article?

>agreement will not alleviate consumer shortage, supply earmarked for server clients
>Sources say the NCNR's price is expected to exceed $20 per 16GB DDR4 module, but Samsung is still evaluating the market and may increase it further. Still, this is only a third of prevailing spot market prices for short-term contracts. Unfortunately, the client said to be gunning for the NCNR contract mainly focuses on server applications, and no consumer-facing company has signaled its intent to secure a long-term contract for DDR4 chips. This means that end-users should not expect any relief from the ongoing memory shortage.
it says right there in the article that this is for SERVERS.
>>
>>107660683
>the client said to be gunning for the NCNR contract

yes anon, i did read the article. 'said to be' means the same as 'rumoured'.

but anon, valve's core business, would you believe...concentrates on servers. or do you think it's bunch of guys with desktops making games, and not a global tech infrastructure company.

lazy and greedy manufacturers. you can do anything if you really put your mind to it.
what you want to say is it's not as easy/straightforward for them. as in they cannot do it through the cheapest and simplest manufacturing process that maximizes their gains on a sale for such a set. like they did with that GMK golden hen, cheap shit plastic that wears out for a fuckload of money because "pretty".
also there's plenty backlit keysets that look just fine, as long as legends are up/down depending on led position.
