dump question but why does no country use a plug design with a shroud as the ground instead of a pin?
>>
>>107615960
a lot more metal, so an economic reason
>>
>>107615970
but wouldn't be safer and not hurt to step on like a lot of caltrop designs from european countries?

why am I getting 3 stage captchas with 5 images instead of 1 stage with 3 images?
>>
>>107616031
phoneposting, by chance?
why is everyone so obsessed with stepping on the plugs, what the fuck? in general, probably. something like a beefy double-walled barrel connector would be neat.
>>
>>107616161
no I am not phoneposting

>double walled barrel connector
that'd be kind of neat, no special plug orientation required

I would like to posit a groundbreaking theory: slop in cooming is only a problem if your penis wasn't touched by a fuckhuge moe. The second it gets touched by a fuckhuge moe slop concerns become secondary. The problem always was with the model being retarded. The slop is just a red herring and most obvious thing you can see in the output, but if the model knows what you want and writes unique stuff slop becomes bearable. Because slop has its source in real written smut. I would like to call this the law of: "Real ERP has never been tried".

I work at a hospital there are so many items that cost like 15k that do most simplest tasks. For example this pill counter which uses computer vision of some sort to count pills costs literally 2k to 10k.

The vast majority of visitors are not paying directly out of pocket. Instead you fags charge the insurance company/Government an outrageous price for "services". Like the needless chest x-ray I was given while laying in bed the last time I had to go to the ER. I was there for a kidney stone and just needed a shot of morphine and a CT scan to verify the stone was small enough that I could pass it. Instead. I got a 7 hour wait in the waiting room while in horrible pain. I was not given a shot of pain killers and was given some other drug that did nothing. Then I was wheeled into a room with a CT scan which took 4 minutes total. Then given a 5mg generic oxycodone tablet and kicked out into the street.

Total costs?
>7 hour wait at hospital that didn't even admit me
$300. I guess because I pissed blood in a cup and they looked at it after I left
>CT scan at second ER
$7k
>Shot of crappy non-pain killer drug+banana bag
$2k
>Unneeded chest X-ray I didn't want
$700
>One 5mg ocycodone tablet
$50 for tablet and $15 for paper cup they brought it in

3 days passed since my last reply to this thread and not a single person has replied to the most important replies in this thread: "The UK does not exist" and all the shit the OP is writing is fiction. None of the thing some crab on the island says has any significance to the global or local fauna - not even the laws on the island have meaningful power over the inhabitant of the island. it just does not exist. the uk is no more. it is like Lemuria and the british are like Seracins - fiction history from the Finno-Korean hyperwar.

too many (JP) vtubers pull down swathes of their channel, paid or not paid, upon "graduation," and usually at the request of those videos being corpo property or frequently because JP vtubers do that kinda bullshit
and aside from the paid shit, alot of popular channels have "no-archive" shit that the vtuber themselves don't wanna keep up, or shit that gets deleted that only turbo fans would have saved while it was showing

I have not tried SDL3 but I can say, as someone who had never written a single line of GPU API code (or shaders), Vulkan is not that hard nowadays. It took me about two months from starting with it to having meshes, textures, and point lights working. This includes quite a lot of infrastructure work to make it scaleable and not drive me mad later. Another month to get clustered forward rendering going and moving both draw call generation and mesh/light culling to the GPU, as well as getting ImGui running. This was with an average of 3 or so hours a day (so lets say 200 hours).

Obviously AI is a lifesaver, if I had to google for answers to things it would likely have taken 2-3x as much (however no code was written by AI, it really isn't reliable for more complex things like this).

Yes there is a lot more to do (e.g. I don't have shadows), but a lot of it is just graphics programming now, most of the work happens in shaders where it doesn't matter much what you use as graphics API.

I started in the late 2000s with the K&R book, though I'm not sure what I'd recommend for something more Godot focused beyond OOP languages in general. Godot doesn't have a lot of tutorials but have you gone through what's there? I think it has some some scripting examples and trying to understand and modify those examples might be a decent place to start.

Usually I only answer questions on these threads, but I actually have a question today:

What do you guys do when you have similar but still disparate subsystems that you see a way to integrate using abstractions, but aren't sure if it's even a good idea to do so; or even worse, when you see multiple ways to combine them, and you're not sure which to choose? (Right now I'm waffling between message passing and casting to interfaces with null checks. Dynamic designs always fuck with my perfectionism tendencies)

For me, it's Fedora. I don't know why anyone would recommend Mint these days. Fedora has sensible default settings, good built-in security, newer packages, good support, and you can easily replicate the Windows workflow with KDE. And if you want a macOS-like experience, there's GNOME.

Best distribution for new users? Yes, I think so.

Arch users can't really think ever, can they? Your distro does not make anything other can't. You have no gui installer, no usable ootb images, only support x86_64, official repo is so fucking lame the 30 retarded dudes in charge of the project just said "users should make the work instead" with shitty package signing servers that pretty much never truly worked until Valve got fed up and gave them one. You can build your distro from the ground with Fedora, SUSE, Gentoo, NixOS, Guix, Debian. They all have minimal images, ready ootb images, multi architecture support, and AUR like options. Arch is nothing special, just a SIMPLE distro for anyone wanting to flex while running an script. This was top notch 15 years ago, now is a nuisance, operating systems are tools meant to let users do X thing the sooner as possible, not every linux user should be an operating system enthusiast because there's people with lives.

rpm distros are very alike, however, SUSE Tumbleweed might be the sweet spot for updating environment along packages, Fedora tends to wait more before updating environment versions, or they just get updated on new releases. Sames as with SUSE Leap.

Is being a stem fag outside the US just a big meme (especially in Europe)?

90-100k€ (all-in, 40h) is considered as end game and ceiling for stem people (well, the good ones and even then only like 15% can reach this) in Germany, everyone else earns around 60-75k€ until they retire.
Renting a 50-60m2 flat costs you 1200-1500€ per month in big cities and only there you get proper jobs.
Take a look at this:
