Nadella just pulled that number out of his ass, because he believes people want to hear that more code is being written by AI.
Probably not wrong, since I think they have their own AI.
They probably want to justify all that spending in it, so
>HURR DURR 30% SAARRS
>THIRDY BURCEND WINDOWS CODED BY GORGEOUS AI SAARS
to kind of create the illusion that investor money is going into something worthwhile.
Yeah, I'm sorry, no wonder they all have Jeets as their CEOs, if nobody's going to call them out on their bullshit.
Those guys are the most shameless!
You either call them out, and that's where it hurts those that are shameless the most, or you don't, and suffer more Jeet CEO.

Really depends on what you're doing. >>/g/lmg/ is better for recc if you can get them to respond to you.
Rocinante, Nemo, and even Mythomax 13b (still) are popular for rp. For coding... I frankly think you're better off w/ DS API and ditch local entirely.
Personally, I preferred sticking w/ quants of 13b or less models for rp and keeping it 100pct on card, since it's faster, but I haven't seriously run local since late 2023. With that much CPU you could run larger but it's much slower.

One day... one day, I will tune DeepSeek...

The 32B model runs at a medium typing speed, it's only partially on VRAM.
For the hell of it, I tried a huge model on a weaker machine and got 6 minute load times followed by 1 token per 10 seconds... lolno.
Given that all the non local models keep getting spitefagged and I specifically built this for local, I might as well stick with that. But so far I've had mixed results making local generate good responses. At best I can make it continue something a larger model started.

I ran Mythomax 13b quant on card and it was... OK. Then I threw in the towel on LLMs until I started using DS API.
The hardware for local just isn't there yet. API access will cost me less than $20 for an entire year. That won't even cover the cost of a decent keyboard... I'm just not willing to spend the cash on an LLM inference machine while the market sorts itself out.
My machine a middling gamer rig; 12gb VRAM can run AI art modules locally, and modern games. For API aside from playing with small models... I'll just rent inference.

DLSS FG objectively generates fewer artifacts.
Even FSR FG is already better than AFMF 2.1 because it has access to the game engine's render data.
Lossless Scaling shows you can do MFG without ML hardware, but AMD is developing ML FG to present more "accurate frames".

I remember reading the kali linux documentation. Almost all password retrieval tools are designed for windows. It's much harder for linux.
Though once you retrieve the actual hashed file then the source OS doesn't matter, mac, linux and windows are the same after that point.

Big search engines like Google and Bing are well known to track searchers activity and sell that data to advertisers — which is why many of us don’t feel comfortable searching freely anymore.
If you’re looking for more private alternatives, here are a few I’ve come across. I’d love to hear what others are using too!

DuckDuckGo – Great for simple, untracked searches
Startpage – Delivers Google results without the profiling
Brave Search – Strong privacy with its own independent index
MyAllSearch – Clean interface with a focus on user privacy
Qwant – GDPR-compliant, with servers based in Europe
Dogpile – A metasearch engine that pulls top results from Bing, Yandex, and more

Please share anymore Iv'e missed, I'm always curious to discover new ones.

yarn 4 defaults to symbolic links, you can use a .yarnrc.yml if you want to have back the old yarn behavior with node_modules.
But maybe I am retarded here, tailwind has some problems with symbolic links, I am forced to use the .yarnrc.yml to get old node_modules method to get tailwind working.

This. For some retarded reason, SSD/NVMe are the only pieces of hardware which apparently gotta last for thousands of years.

When GPU/CPU/RAM etc die nobody says anything. But when a nvme from someone's favorite brand dies, it's ALWAYS something else that killed it such as windows, bad cpu overclock, bad psu, bad electricity, anything but admitting their beloved brand cut some corners and used shitty components making the ssd die in just a few months.
