UX-wise and feature-wise it's the best instant messaging app by far.
it's not Russian, the founder is Russian but he left Russia after they stole his first social media site.
it doesn't have e2e encryption by default, though.

I had back pain throughout the entire 2025. I finally caved and bought Herman Miller Mirra 2 and the back pain went away in a couple weeks.

Don't be fooled. I had the exact same experience as you 3 years ago, except I did get the Aeron. It helped with acute issues made worse by sitting in a bad chair all day, but it doesn't fix the problem. You will have different forms of pain come back once you get used to the chairs. My back pains and stiffness went away in a couple of weeks of eating better and exercising daily (even a 30 minute walk). Didn't even lose much weight (still a fatass) but I feel about 10x better.

I used it for a couple of years when I started out with Linux (2003-ish) because I liked Debian's infrastructure but Stable's packages were too outdated. I can't recommend it, or any other rolling-release distro for that matter, if you want a reliable system that won't surprise you with having to do a bunch of maintenance shit at random times.

I use Ubuntu LTS now. I like the update cadence. Every 2 years I update the distro on a day when I'm sure I can afford to invest 2 hours or so either fixing shit or reinstalling the system, if necessary.

Based, grownup and employed.
I use RHEL largely for the same reason, except it's every 3 years instead of 2, which is even better for me.

Oh and for some reason I get insane performance now that the install is complete and I rebooted. Like 2GB/s writes which I consider good for a VM.
>>
>>107870809
>>107871482
so what did you do different this time?
>>
>>107871488
I don't know, the performance issue was only during install on the live-cd env while chrooted to the ZFS rpool/ROOT/gentoo dataset. As I said, after install and reboot performance is fine.

hipaint is android copy of procreate, not as good but free or for few usd you can buy no add version, android also have concepts -app for drawing but you can use it as infinite canvas for note taking, clip studio paint is also very good for drawing but its subscription based
>>
ipad or ipad mini for the aspect ratio and weight. half the android tablets are too heavy and hard to hold. the software situation is better on ios although its more locked down and harder to transfer files. surface line is not bad, but not worth the money unless you can get one really, really cheap. android tablets all have issues unless you are only going to read manga or play pirated games on an emulator.
