as far as i can tell it existed for like 2 years in the early 2000s then disappeared foreverWhy?
Aside from being a new browser, will this shit bring something new to the web? Because 99% of people don't use a browser based on the browser engine itself. Even people who are geeky enough to change browsers don't use a browser based on its engine itself (the only reason why I use Firefox is because of userchrome.css and customization; if I could do that on Chromium, I would dump FF in a blink of an eye).So my point is: other than "hey, we are a new browser engine" what will this bring to the table?
>>107545739>Javascript in the browser is perfectly fine to work with, there were many improvements over the years. If I had space to write out all the deficiencies of javascript I would, but the fundamental issue is>It's not the browser's faultIt doesn't matter whose fault it is, the browser is the one with the power to curtail it.
Browsers are the single worst most dogshit software to ever exist and rape the fuck out of your computer for no reason other than the developers working on them are drooling retards. There's like a dozen smart people working on the lowest level parts of JS engines and a thousand jeets and OOPslaves piling on millions of lines of code on top.Reminder that in 2014 typing ONE CHARACTER in the Chrome search bar would do 25,000 string allocations. 99% of the people working on browsers have literally ZERO idea of how computers work and rape your hardware for no reason other than incompetence.https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/g/chromium-dev/c/EUqoIz2iFU4/m/kPZ5ZK0K3gEJAlso almost every web spec is slow and retarded
>>107553719> (!!) I used to not like it when people added this kind of shit to their communications. Now I have a job and I realize most people literally do not read their emails. Started using Linux as my main distro a week ago, so far Im liking it.As Im already using Discord with my frens, my last step would be the programmer socks :3By the way, why do some people hate Wayland? It is quite amusing to see the downfall of everything technological. RAM, SSDs, the interwebs, AI bs, digital IDs, the whole thing. I returned to monke in some aspects. By monke I mean analog. In a weird way, unless it is literally my work files, I basically have no digital files I care enough to backup. Whatever is important is in physical format. I also just print a few pictures every few months and put those in an album. So practically I have no need for digital storage. Anyone else moving in that direction? Some call it digital minimalism I guess. I only have a phone as a personal digital device. I realized that I have not updated my Arch system since like August of last year. I noted that I hadn't booted the system up since June. I managed to update the system safely. I realized I'd been going that long without security updates. Should I just straight up re-install the OS? If I re-install it, I'm probably going with Artix.

Be honest anon, do you actually use the Home Row for touch typing how it was caught in school? Or do you just kind of get a feel for your keyboard and get good at correcting typos really fast like me? Do you think learning to Touch Type properly is worth it?
