Sure, just hope that something you do doesn't one day become illegal.
Or simply declared as immoral in the court of general public opinion.
Would be a shame, since your online activities are easily accessible.
Not just by the govt/feds, even if you believe them to be the good guys.

The problem with cryptographic technologies is that they will always have vulnerabilities and that's if such a technology isn't a honeypot to begin with. Just like how a lock can be picked.

Only VPN servers can truly conceal your identity as you are quite literally connecting to a different internet connection and using it virtually but of course not all VPN servers are safe to use (depending on your usage). VPN servers come with different benefits depending on the company hosting them and the country in which the company is based in. Obviously you should not use servers from mainstream Western companies that are advertised to normies for illegal shit. Those servers are only good for bypassing georestrictions.

If you really want anonymity ideally you should use a Mysterium node but even with those you should check the ISP because anybody could be hosting it. Statistically speaking there has to be some run by the feds. If it's run by a standard ISP you should be safe but if it's run by some random company posing as a (lets say) business ISP then there's good chance it's a front. Just use your own judgement.

Truthfully there's no reason to be anonymous on the internet unless you are doing some shady shit. Whether you are selling drugs, leaking classified information or producing certain type of taboo content. Perhaps you're Walter White on the run in need of some ultra secure messaging solution. If you are going to use Tor - never do so without a VPN. You are bound to connect to a compromised exit node. I assume it's the same case for Lokinet as it's built on pretty much the same technology.

This. Only the caught out try and shame the accusation.

Early 2020s: China enacts laws severely crippling the internet for people unless they show ID

Jul 2025 (Online Safety Act): UK enacts laws neutering the internet for people unless they show ID; remains in effect despite initial outcry

Dec 2025 (Online Safety Amendment): Australia enacts laws neutering the internet for people unless they show ID; likely to remain in effect despite current outcry

Apr 2026? (KOSA, made it into the House recently): US enacts laws neutering the internet for people unless they show their IDs

EU has similar shit on the table iirc, they're the fucking EU they love regulation

This will get worse, and this won't go away, at least not in the way you want it to - it'll be an impossibly difficult sell because "THINK OF THE CHILDREN!" Security theater is notoriously difficult to reverse, just compare flying pre and post 9/11. This'll probably be more of the same. Again, UK already had a petition, the gov there just laughed in everyone's faces. Only way any of this is really "going away" is, like, the internet itself going extinct.

Not just this btw, also got countries banning Chinese social media (which in many cases can ironically be less restrictive), Android banning sideloading, etc.

This won't get kids playing outside again. They'll just watch only the government-OK kid-friendly TV, YouTube Shorts, and AI. Sheeple will still use a heavily policed internet and talk to Amanda the AI HR Lady because "brain need dopamine". China's still full of internet addicts despite having long had one of the world's most censored internets.

You're completely and entirely right. This is the course. But what can we do to stop it? Even during COVID, we couldn't mobilize to prevent the shit they pulled. And that had real life in your face consequences, not just in digital world as many people will tell themselves to deprioritize it.
>>
>>107534272
yes. we are unironically in the last decade of the free internet as we know it

internet ID laws will start with adult content then slowly creep into the rest of the net and eventually authentication modules will be legally required to be built into all computers. Accessing the internet without such authentication will land you years, if not decades, in prison.
>>
>>107535062
they can put it on every website which eventually normalizes it
at that point they can require all computer hardware to have built in ID authentication at startup, and the people will see it as a "feature" because they no longer have to login manually to every website.
>>
>>107535274

Why are indians so touchy? Like they can see each other defecating daily. Seems a bit silly to get worked up over being smelly
>>

>Yeah as a matter of fact the smell was so vile we actually had to bring industrial air blowers
>But is not the "south asians" you bad goy! fired for wrongthink
They are really pushing the fecaloids as a way to tank wages even further but is not gonna work if even the top management has a working gag reflex, everyone hates them and for good reason, smelling like corpses is just fundamentally antihuman and the only place where the management tolerates them is where they cannot smell them, such as online or working in a different building altogether

I find 4chan XT insanely useful, I couldn't imagine browsing this place without it. Are there any other extensions/userscripts that implement broad site improvements like that? Enhancer for YouTube comes to mind. Yes, there are others for YouTube, but I haven't tried them. And I guess there are some R*ddit enhancement suites, but I rarely use that site.

of those vanilla 4chan can do most, except file name randomizing and file conversion and why the fuck you'd need those. are you a phonefag?
>>
I use this: https://greasyfork.org/nl/scripts/490894-4chan-gallery
I'm just looking for a proper, working captcha solver. I know the one from the proxy site works but I don't want to use the site because it's overall a worse experience when posting
>>107536548
>file conversion
when I want to post via link and the original image is a webp, I can't do so because 4chan has no webp support. xt converts it for me. on pc, thought I'd clarify
>>
>>107536548
I don't know about that. Maybe I was underselling it because I kept remembering stuff and posting after I made the initial reply.

>Does 4chan have a built-in gallery view for images?
>Can you filter by image MD5/subject field/comment field? I guess maybe you can if you know enough regex, but I don't. 4chan XT makes it easy to switch fields when filtering.
>Can you keep thread settings (hidden, watched) saved in private mode? Maybe you could export the settings I guess, but that seems tedious.
>Can you make zoom on hover depend on whether you're in the catalog or the thread?
>Can you automatically redirect threads to the archive or restore posts?
Genuinely asking btw, I haven't played around with 4chan's default settings too much.
>>
>>107536596
So you are posting lossy transcoded images. gotcha.
>>
>>107536596
I know about that gallery view, but you can accomplish similar things by adding custom CSS to 4chan XT. Maybe you can add it to default 4chan as well since it has a custom CSS field, I haven't tried. This is a modified version another anon posted:

/* gallery grid */

.gal-thumbnails {

this guy wanders around my company and does some sound stuff in the visitor areas.
I'm the only dev at my company and he sat down next to me the other day at lunch.
I was happy to talk to another dev for once, but the first thing he does is ask me what kind of AI I'm using and goes on how much he loves Cursor and Claude for coding.
I tell him that I only use AI for mundane stuff like repeating SQL insert queries or refining documentation. he goes on and on about how I totally should start using AI more and how it made him 20x faster

Is creating OS lost technology? I really cannot find good information on this. I have mapped page tables correctly I think, I used some other reference from Github. I've taken a look at other references but god fucking damn debugging this shit is impossible.
I jump to kernel successfully, I can confirm this by having running asm!("int3") which gives me a breakpoint. But QEMU goes into a bootloop once I read some variable or write to memory. Probably the stack or some memory mapping is fucked. I've been stuck at this for 3 days. None of the "AIs" have been able to help.
