DRAM on SSDs? It's pointless.

DRAM is a cheat-sy way to give SSDs super high speeds on benchmarks for short periods of time.

When SATA SSDs first came out they were slower. DRAM allowed it to push 500-550 megabytes per second. Today almost every SATA SSD pushes 500-550 megabytes per second with or without DRAM.

When NVMe SSDs came out - DRAM allowed them to push 2,500-3,500 megabytes per second. Today DRAM-less drives like the SN550, Crucial P1, and Samsung 980 have no issues pushing these speeds.

Now that Gen4 NVMe SSDs are out - DRAM allows them push 5,000 - 7,000 megabytes per second.

DRAM itself is good for 10,000 - 20,000 megabytes per second. DRAM-less is now good for about 3,500. SATA is good for 550.

also a microfinetune isn't really a "finetune" in the actual sense. it's glorified lora training but "different."
also v3 is back to being a shitmerge.

look at commit history. I don't think even deepseek is supported unfortunately. i'm afraid you're stuck with ik_llama. Good news though, it got TP support recently. Unfortunately it's token banning is worse than EXL and also the context handling. their llama-server is finally caching now.

Everything there except SQL, PDF, PostScript, and dynamic linking is harmful. Dynamic linking is literally the most natural and fundamental way to call program code. If you have the ability to execute code from RAM, you will invent something like dynamic linking, even if you have no OS or the OS you're using doesn't support it. DOS programs did it. Most of the rest is Unix shit, which is "so superfluous and useless that require no alternative."

no efficient implementations of sets without abusing maps to emulate them
no sequence abstraction that is used as pervasively as Clojure's
no associative abstractions
the JVM is far faster than pretty much any other virtual machine
Racket's pattern matching is cool but Clojure's destructuring is better integrated into everything

Clojure is closer to Python than it is to Java in terms of performance for anything I've used it for. You have to use all of Java's data-structures and not Clojures to get near Java performance and if you're doing that you might as well use Java and not Clojure.
>>
>>107550497
I would say that it is closer to Erlang by default (which is faster than Python).
imperative Clojure using Java's data structures is more pleasant than raw Java due to the `doto` helper, Lisp syntax, and macros. being able to trivially move from idiomatic Clojure to performance-focused Clojure is very nice, and allows for trivial exploration of problem domains, then optimization of solutions, all without needing to switch languages.

The configure command says:
> nginx path prefix: "/usr/local/nginx"
> nginx binary file: "/usr/local/nginx/sbin/nginx"
> nginx modules path: "/usr/local/nginx/modules"
> nginx configuration prefix: "/usr/local/nginx/conf"
> nginx configuration file: "/usr/local/nginx/conf/nginx.conf"
"make" and "sudo make install" worked no-problem. Do this:
1. Edit /usr/local/nginx/conf/nginx.conf to be the same as in the GitHub example
2. Comment out the "application mypush { ... }" section; same with sections "application mypull" and "application mystaticpull"
3. $ sudo /usr/local/nginx/sbin/nginx &

Then you get the error
>nginx: [emerg] no "events" section in configuration
I got as far as this step unless I do some other shit.

there aren't much differences between 2000 and xp as far as i can tell, xp is just 2000 with more features, they're both nt 5.x, the only difference is that one has a fancier ui (dear lord i do not like classic and no i don't like the fisher price aspect of it either, i grew up ricing that shit too) and a better ux (the xp-7 start menu is a god send).

Upload the file somewhere, preferably in a lossless format, and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.
Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included. You may not use your real artist name.
Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT, but will still be added to the album.
By default, tracks will be normalised to -14 LUFS (integrated loudness) in the release. You may specify a lower loudness for your track.
