Considering AI accelerationism, the probability of the Tkinter developers fixing emoji support is effectively 0%, and a true accelerationist would argue that this is precisely the point. Instead of waiting for a stagnant system to change, one should abandon it for a superior one or build a new one entirely.

>>106495881>Instead of waiting for a stagnant system to change, one should abandon it for a superior one or build a new one entirely. As the last person on Earth still using Tkinter you are also the last to come to this realization

>>106496680>it's realholy fucking shit>>106496322you got fucking destroyed mate, my intuition was right
>>106496322Is there a technical reason why LLMs can't say they don't know? E.g. would it interfere with the loss function or gradient descent if you tried to add a don't know option?Or is it just a design choice to always give some answer to fake competency?
>>106499226I think bc its already trained you cantr eally check how few data were used to create the "synapses" all you can do is go from input to output. Maybe if you inserted some sort of confidence meta data during training? I dunno i forgot how it works exactly
>>106499226Rarely do you ever see a hard question on the internet answered with "I don't know". It is simply not in the training set and even if it were, like if humans did such a thing habitually, this would expose the inherent weakness of LLMs.

Does anyone have recommendations on a good SSD around 2 TB or more?. I'm getting ready for Linux, and the plan for now is to install an SSD onto my computer and gradually wean myself off of Windows 10, and I have barely over 100 GB left on my main gaming PC.
>>106499222Samsung, Crucial, WD, SK Hynix and Kingston are the big five when it comes to good SSDs.
>>106499127You write into the system of the designated container for CLI software or install it with homebrew, thus ensuring no modifications of the immutable, containerized base system. GUI apps are handled by flatpaks.Or are we talking about the "I want to tinker tranny" kinda user that spazzes out when not running a tiling wm with under 200MB footprint and only suckless software?
>>106499222looks model names maybe skip ones with j v t
>>106499249I'm talking about the many modifications a power user might want to make to their base system for any number of reasons. Not all software can run in a container. Ironically, most tinker tranny software probably can. Some software requires running unconfined and needs the ability to modify or write to the base system.Sometimes you need things like custom kernel modules (tinker trannies don't do this, but it's very popular in the enterprise space) and these don't necessarily always have an easy deployment avenue on an immutable system. You can absolutely make a custom immutable system that works for you but sometimes it's just easier to go with a mutable system instead.

>>106496663>It doesn't really matter if the security hole is centeredAlright. Great news.>>106487321I was messing around more with my bits. On the left is my trusty Victorinox Cybertool. My main torx bit. Look how beat to shit it is. You can see the faint circular imprint because I've managed to force it on few security bits over the years. The rest of the bits on this 115 set actually look pretty well machined. It's just for some reason Chinese machinists can't align the hole properly. Maybe it doesn't matter that much like anon said so they don't bother to.The new one on the right has survived a basic test of (un)screwing my multitool. The bit didn't melt like butter as I was afraid it might.

What are /g/ approved drawing tablet brands? Jewcom is overpriced, and Xencelabs is trying to be Jewcom v2.0. What do you think about XP-Pen and Huion?
>>106498556Does krita have animation features?
>>106491806I work with real artists I can say with certainty that a vast majority use an ipad and procreate for their main drawing/sketching purposes and then move to adobe for rendering or whatever other tools needed. judging from this thread and the IC population, they don't like apple products but again I work directly in the industry and I see it 8/10 times. take that as you will
>>106498944the "industry" is pretty broad. everyone I work with uses either wacom or real paper scanned -> continued in photoshop with wacom. some people use procreate for fun or whatever but it's too simplistic for serious work. photoshop or maybe corel painter. the only people using apple products are the ones in front who need to fulfill customer's stereotype expectations.
i have an xp pen deco 01 v2 and it has everything i'd ever need. really cheap (on aliexpress they have a warehouse in poland which is nice if you live in eu). it doesnt have eraser on the opposite end, but the rocker button is convenient enough for that. i wish the tablet buttons were bigger and nicer. on mobile this tablet fucking sucks, just get a smasnug with pen support.i recommend getting the largest tablet you have space for, because you can make the active area smaller in the driver software. dont look at low end screen tablets, because they might have cursor offset (all screen tablets have shit contrast because of the rough coating)
>>106491806Don't look at brands, look at specific models. All brands have bad products. For Huion specifically (and XP-Pen probably also since they are almost same brand) anything using the *latest* pen-tech is really good. Older models are unusable garbage.

On my end, it was more like gemini was just being needlessly hostile. Not only was the character just being an ass even after we've bond or she otherwise opened up, but there was a time with 2.0 where I told gemini I had a conversation with a contact for a pick-up and give it details. Gemini just said "Nah, what he actually said was this:" Then just made the guy standoffish. I'm only slightly exaggerating. I got pissed once and just started arguing directly with gemini about how stupidly hostile he was being.>they are female bots though so i took it as realismlol yeah. Though that kinda breaks for me when she has a mental breakdown after passionate sex and goes completely silent.
