Games were made for nerds by nerds.
Now nerds download Steam and don't even make their own games. If you truly want these times back, be the change you want to see in the industry. Stop using Steam. Start making your own games. Only you can bring it back, if you have the balls to do it.

The worst enemy you will encounter in life isn't the ones that wants you dead or gone and then stomp or piss on your grave.

It's the ones who wants to keep you alive, tie you up, so you can watch them helplessly doing horrible things to your family.

it is literally the closest thing to a windows portable exe

>have one pedia that's so old it has a grain of truth in it
>but it's shitty and is constantly revisioned to become worse
>solution 1: deny access to people who do shitty revisions on a pedia, preserving the existing grain of truth; encourage people who are motivated to be truthful and unbiased, growing the vault of truthful information ever further
>solution 2: stop relying on a single source of information, create instead as many biased sources information as possible which nonetheless are based on facts; aggregate and summarize them without bias (with or without ai)
>solution 3: make an alternative source of information which takes already existing information and adds hallucinations and corporate (political) bias; do nothing to impove the inherent trustworthiness of information, instead twist it to suit whatever needs
tiresome

I always disliked that GrapheneOS uses bootloader re-locking as an excuse to not support more phones.
It just feels like trying to convince someone to use Secure Boot because of "security". When infact its the first thing I disable when installing Linux, and keep disabled. I surelly dont need it on my PC, and certainly wont on my phone. So this sounds pointless.

This is a security theater, just like secure boot on PCs, you as linux users should understand, its the first thing you disable on any PC you want to install Linux on, you keep it disabled because it exists to stop you from using arguably much more secure alternative OSes.

Locked bootloaders on Android are the exact same thing, they exist to stop the user from having control of their own hardware, not to actually secure your device.
