you're only an xfs chad if you used it back when it wasn't crash safe or suitable for small files (root), but you used it anyway (for non-root, because you're chad, not retard) for its fast prealloc that didn't require writing zeros to disk.

This board shouldn't have the crazier auto EDC/TDC PBO settings; it's a really popular board, and there would be more posts of it killing CPUs.
But no one knows whether that is the true cause of the problem.
https://videocardz.com/newz/asrock-acknowledges-ryzen-9000-failures-are-linked-to-pbo-settings-releases-another-bios-fix

Gigabyte B850 GAMING WIFI6 is currently discounted to $150 in the US.
It has a 150W hard power limit, but this won't throttle a 9800X3D.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLMTT7-rfeM

Gigabyte B850 Eagle WIFI 6E is $165 and has better VRM cooling with no power limit restriction.
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Rf8Pxr/gigabyte-b850-eagle-wifi6e-atx-am5-motherboard-b850-eagle-wifi6e

Either board is fine if you're swapping from a B650M-HDV/M.2
Gigabyte Aorus Elite, MSI Tomahawk, and ASUS TUF are slightly higher-tier boards, but you will see no performance difference.
>>
>>106751223
TY for info. Listening to steve it seems it might be some kind of sleep related reason and I have auto sleep/hibernate disabled. Wasn't aware it was more a higher end mobo situation
>>
>>106751304
>B650M-HDV/M.2
Keep the BIOS updated, and it should be fine.
HDV/M.2 is still one of the best budget AM5 boards.

Several. Mac, other loonix boxes and now wangblows ltsc. It’s really simple make it so I can RDP on boot and don’t have broken ass RDP clients. I have a proxmox box setup with all my servers, router and windows work VM. Unfortunately RDP just works. Then there’s the hidpi AND dual monitor situation. If I play a game in my spare time gayland thinks the game is like 8k resolution but confines it to one monitor, the mouse will shoot out of the screen thinking the game is that big. It’s really frustrating. The only solution is to use Gnome and set scaling to 100% and increase font size. Everything looks all wonky and certain programs don’t increase font so the menus are tiny. KDE is so disgusting it makes me want to punch my computer. When you RDP both screens show up at once in the window, cant see just one at a time also KRASHES. Xfce one window is normal the other one is 1080 with all sorts of artifacts around the desktop. I’m on a 9800x3d and 7900xtx. Not using poverty tech. It’s just totally frigged. I even ughhhh made a discord to talk to the devs who were of zero use. Deleted the discord after because I’m not 12 or trying to talk to 12 year olds.

why has ubuntu fallen so hard?
tried all the versions and every single software that was install and use suddenly was filled with problems.
sandboxing problems
wayland problems
uncompatibility everywhere.

it went from the easiest to use distro to being one of the most complex to use ones.
not even arch has that much of problems and i think is mostly bloat.

Probably due to multiple monitors not being native to MacOS. It's primarily intended for laptops or iMacs with a single built in display. Linux and Windows have been far more likely to be used in multi-monitor setups over the past several decades.

Why are debian based distros bad for beginners? Debian itself isn't very beginner friendly, but various Ubuntu derivatives definitely are. Ubuntu itself being a derivative of debian.

It's easy. Here is a good playlist with everything you need to know. Follow along with it:

You don't really need fail2ban btw, if you disable the password login and only login using SSH, but it's nice to have.
