The only reason I'm considering switching to Brave is because Firefox (Librewolf) doesn't support WebGPU on Linux. It's so fucking stupid.

hold on, all these little turd glasses are tethered via usb-c or display port or whatever?
I need to feed an infant, go take a shit, do the dishes, change a diaper etc etc etc all hands free without pausing my youtube video or getting the cable caught on something. We're not there yet on a device you want $300-600 for???
Is there anything you can do with these besides watch porno on an airplane?

Doesn't mean normies won't panic thinking they have a camera in them or that Tyrone won't try to help himself to acquiring them from you. That said, I haven't seen or heard of either happening but it's also a niche product so maybe not a lot of opportunities for that type of thing to have happened.

google glass or some nonsense
fuck we really did
I fucking hate living in the first era of stagnation after rapid development
the only new tech we've gotten in my adult life has been NFTs (which were immediately mocked out of public discourse because of a misunderstanding of their usecase), will smith eating spaghetti, and... I guess meshtastic is pretty cool.

Google Glass was a different type of tech. More akin to the Meta glasses. AR not XR.

We are busy using our COSMIC desktop environment. Why would I go to /g/ to complain about problems I am not having with my DE? You have so much brainrot you are treating desktop environments like sports teams. No one cares but you

Also I'm not sure what other distros support COSMIC right now. Everyone has pretty much settled on GNOME/KDE, so not a lot of users to talk about it

Anyway nowadays to most people it's just easier to recommend one of the many flashlights with integrated USB-C charging rather than one that requires you to buy a battery and a charger separately

Other business laptops are welcome in /tpg/ (Dell Latitude/Precision, HP EliteBook/ZBook)

Why ThinkPad?
>Used machines are plentiful and cheap
>Utilitarian design: e.g. mix of old and new ports, stable keyboard layout
>Easy to repair, upgrade (some models) & maintain thanks to readily available service manuals, spare parts easy to obtain
>Usable in cramped quarters thanks to the TrackPoint

The price of a 1080p panel so around 40-50€ probably. You could also look for older models that aren't at all worse (T490, T480s) but could be cheaper. Every T480s has at least 1080p IPS, unlike T490/T14G1.
