If xfce still feels too slow, might take a look at trixiepup64. Puppy linux based on debian trixie.. so relatively modern OS, supports installing a shitload of apps, but still lean running JWM

For this distro, it quite literally is just plug and play. Buy an SSD and install MX Linux. I don’t know why, but Linux Mint Xfce felt slow compared to MX Linux, and I have a Celeron processor for that computer. Maybe a systemd thing

The only retard is the person who doesn't understand what a comparative advantage is. The middle mouse button has a comparative advantage in navigation: the mouse is already used for navigation and other non-destructive inputs. Putting destructive inputs like copying and pasting right where they can and will be easily misfired is not good UX by any metric; the mouse should be used for mouse functions and any destructive inputs must be intentional.

Given you already have your left hand rested on the keyboard, why not just copy with Ctrl+C and paste with Ctrl+V, allowing the middle mouse button specialise in its comparative advantage? Whatever "efficiency" there is with X11 style copying & pasting is completely overshadowed by the opportunity cost: accidental inputs, losing out on drag-to-scroll, and losing out on other navigation functions.

To be clearer, I was expecting a much better imaging in video games. I saw no difference in bf6 (the sounds localization is kind of shit in this game anyway). However, the occasional missing sounds are much easier to spot; the PC350 is so old that I lost a lot of details, making it sometimes hard to miss such bugs.
I slightly increased the bass using an EQ: It's fine now, for music.

Are the dangers revolving around blue light a myth, an urban legend? Perhaps a scam to get us to stare at blinding LEDs in their full exuberance rather than the softer, natural fitting hue of blue light? I’ve read that it may be harmful to your eyes and sleep but I feel like screens are already bad to begin with. Wouldn’t damping/being more selective to the rays you’re exposed to take the strain off of your eyes? The cold incandescent, subconscious flickers to my brain tell me that maybe they don’t want you know about this. Does anyone have any insight to the matter because I don’t trust much of any of the information out there.

Dimming your monitor has the same effect.
>>
>>107809097
Blue light is naturally found from sunlight, but you werent evolved to stare at it all day especially during the night time
>>
>>107809097
Night mode and dark mode reduces eye strain, which means more time to look at your phone or screen. It was never meant to be better for your sleep.
That's the reason why big tech and advertisers are pushing this so hard.
>>
>>107810171
nor were you evolved to stare at LEDs all day and pretend you code on 4chan, you fucking self taught, (doesn’t) know-it-all, faggot.

Android does not allow me to filter out blue light, so I use red glasses instead.

It really helps with melatonin production and you can see many health practitioners on YouTube who, when they make videos in the evening wear those red glasses

It really works. Melatonin is important for sleepband brain function

It's short term in that the current orders will 'only' max out supply worldwide for 2-3 years. But surely these tech companies won't order any more after that, and RAM makers will lower their prices for consumers.

I want some stats honestly bc the demoralization is tiring.
The reason they can push this is because supporters as few as they may be are well organized meanwhile any opposition is anything but.
I want to know how many more will refuse digital ID until held at gunpoint.
I'm sick and fucking tired of even in technical and niche communities/people that should understand privacy to a better degree that I constantly need to explain myself and everyone acts like I'm weird, sharing ANY IRL data online is the highest tier of mental illness I'll never stand for.

"Why do you 24/7 bully phone posters, youre annoying!" Do I need extra reasons to call out people normalizing being retarded enough to own a google surveillance advertising device?
No I can't buy this cool cheap shit unless its sold in my country as I do not do any digital payments (that require personal info and registration) yes I'm for real, I've been boycotting visa/MC way before it became cool.
