If you had a partner to have sex with regularly, you wouldn't have to rely on porn so much, just saying!

Not everyone uses all their space for porn, storing all my favorite anime needs heaps of space! While the rest of the available space is reserved for porn I don't really think it invalidates my argument.

It's a good idea to use a VPN.

OVH has unlimited bandwidth VPS, you can set it up with wireguard on it. That will allow for port forwarding.

At the very least you should require encryption in the qbit client. But if you communicate with UDP trackers, that's unencrypted as far as I know.

/hsg/ is about learning and expanding your horizons. Know all about NAS? Learn virtualization. Spun up some VMs? Learn about networking by standing up a OPNsense/PFsense box and configuring some VLANs. There's always more to learn and chances to grow. Think you’re god-tier already? Setup OpenStack and report back.

>What software should I run?
Install Gentoo. Or whatever flavor of *nix is best for the job or most comfy for you. Jellyfin/Emby/Plex to replace Netflix, Nextcloud to replace Googlel, Ampache/Navidrome to replace Spotify, the list goes on. Look at the awesome self-hosted list and ask.

De-botnet your life. Learn something new. Serving applications to yourself, your family, and your frens feels good. Put your tech skills to good use for yourself and those close to you. you can't send emails even if you done erything right, the email cartel (microsoft, google, etc..) won't accept any email you send from a home IP or a rented vps IP ever, even if you done erything right including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. It still goes to spam.
you can receive emails just fine, but if you use it on the internet be aware that eventually your address will get on a spam list and running your own spam filter is tedious. I'd love to hear if anyone has experience with running their own, I suspect it's not a good experience.
you can use it for local mail delivery and that's about it, so I set up my services to send emails for notifications. I get emails when torrent client is done downloading, emails about the network routers monthly stats, weather alerts, UPS power loss alerts.
I use huginn for a bunch of random shit I get emails for.

>/g/ makes a 19th album
Theme: [Accepting suggestions]

>Song submission rules/guidelines
Upload the file somewhere, preferably in a lossless format, and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.
Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included. You may not use your real artist name.
Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT, but will still be added to the album.
By default, tracks will be normalised to -14 LUFS (integrated loudness) in the release. You may specify a lower loudness for your track.
Use of AI is banned. This includes AI generated stems, samples, and effects. "AI" includes all neural network-based models and not hard-coded automation/procedural generation. You are allowed to ask an LLM about music-related questions, but asking it to give you musical ideas (eg. generating a chord progression) is already a no-no.

This only seems to happen with music for some reason, maybe due to it ls abstract nature. Many musicians only ever learn to play their instrument and nothing else, making original music follows naturally from it.

There are excellent FOSS alternatives available. I know you're going to defend your proprietary garbage like goyshop because it has a few extra features, maybe if you cared enough you'd implement those features into the FOSS alternatives instead of giving up your freedom for the sake of convenience.

Obviously not. If he believed in a coming universal high income utopia then he would be happy to hand out most of his billions to the point where he'd have a couple million at best.
Pay attention to what people do and match it to what they say and you'll find that there is a very strong correlation between preaching moral and fanciful ideals and being an incredibly shitty hypocritical narcissist.

This is the dumbest critique of Musk that leftoids keep bringing up. If he believed that we are decade away from achiving the best technology that solves literally everything and allows everyone to be rich then why should he give away his wealth instead of financing that tech. He would be able to afford like 1 week of government spending, and that is assuming his assets can be perfectly liquidated. You are the type of person that would sell farmer’s tools to buy him month supply of bread.

>In 2008, a software developer in San Francisco named Curtis Yarvin, writing under a pseudonym, proposed a horrific solution for people he deemed “not productive”: “convert them into biodiesel, which can help power the Muni buses.”

>Yarvin, a self-described reactionary and extremist who was 35 years old at the time, clarified that he was “just kidding.” But then he continued, “The trouble with the biodiesel solution is that no one would want to live in a city whose public transportation was fueled, even just partly, by the distilled remains of its late underclass. However, it helps us describe the problem we are trying to solve. Our goal, in short, is a humane alternative to genocide.”

>He then concluded that the “best humane alternative to genocide” is to “virtualize” these people: Imprison them in “permanent solitary confinement” where, to avoid making them insane, they would be connected to an “immersive virtual-reality interface” so they could “experience a rich, fulfilling life in a completely imaginary world.”

I used shadowplay for a while until I wanted it to save to my nas. It would always fallback to the default because windows was starting it before connecting to the server. Now I use obs replay buffer which uses memory for the temp file. I have 64GB so it's trivial to let it have 16GB while gaming to have a couple hours of footage.

I work in cancer research and AI is a genuinely good tool. It allows me to quickly write Python code to create any plots I need, there are foundational models that can analyze pathology images, and I can summarize research papers quickly. It's been a very helpful tool and allows me to focus on the actual biology instead of spending tons of time getting matplotlib to format my graphs properly.

basically he still has Linus' cock still firmly in his mouth
