What are /g/ approved drawing tablet brands? Jewcom is overpriced, and Xencelabs is trying to be Jewcom v2.0. What do you think about XP-Pen and Huion?
73 replies and 13 images omitted. Click here to view.

Xp pen is pretty good for the price and their drivers work fine.
I've had no complaints with it other than the colors being a bit washed out compared to my main monitor, but that seems like a common problem in screen tablets.

Get an old wacom tablet. They haven't improved the technology in decades, so there's nothing wrong with an ancient one. It's like a ti-83. If anything it's gotten worse in some cases (AES).

Silliness. The old version doesn't even have them named. They just go by traits. I tried it with qwen 2.5 72b and it didn't do too badly.
I'd gotten 100 submissions for minitraits from different people as part of a communal bot creation some time ago. I might want to redo this bot again. With the higher token count availability and lorebooks being easier to utilize, there are probably better ways to build it now.
>>106498618
The models that can't play ball will fall by the wayside. Censorship always makes them more retarded.
>>
My guess is Sonoma is some kind of very impressive smaller model series specifically trained on narrative text. It writes pretty well, understands pacing better than other models, doesn't try to dump everything in context into reply, it can be clever in its direction... But makes really dumb or incoherent mistakes the way an 8B would. I don't really give a fuck about trivia knowledge, but it does say something about model size and this one doesn't know some of the more obscure stuff the bigger models do. It doesn't feel at all like Gemini or Grok. If it has to be one of the two, I'd guess some kind of Grok Gaiden specifically for their RP offerings. It surprised me with an unprompted "nigger" in a Star Trek satire RP out of the blue. I hope this doesn't end up being another fucking rugpull.

Mostly tested Sky with a little bit of Dusk.

Is it because I’ve been watching old anime from the 80s that the sound feels muffled, kind of low, and not very high quality?
I feel like I’m going crazy I even uninstalled the new audio drivers, but it made no difference. My system volume is at 67%, and my headphones (the ones with the dragon logo on the sides) are set to high volume.

What’s the ideal volume configuration, and how can I make sure the audio quality is as good as possible?

It's simply because of the recording medium.
Magnetic tapes aren't as transparent as digital recording making pro-processing more problematic.
They lack the crispy "sizzle" often associated with hi-fi audio.
iZotope RX might be able to help a bit with its spectral recovery tool.
