What type of trackball do you prefer? Finger? Thumb?

It's a ComfyUI powerplay, just look at all the ads and dicksucking he did after it went API only. This was part of the $17m investment agreement. The same investors blew 100x that investing in API-only models that failed to make profit. Now they're banking on Comfy to make API profitable.

useless trivia:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FL2xriqNpRI
>"Sans logique" was actually recorded twice due to technical problems in the studio. The sentence "this is a blank formatted diskette" (sampled from an Ensoniq Mirage), which can be heard in the introduction of the song and later on, refers to this problem and was kept in the finished product.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ensoniq_Mirage
>The Mirage was one of the first consumer products to utilize the then-new Microfloppy 3.5-inch floppy diskette format
When it formatted a 3.5 floppy is wrote to it the vocal declaration, "this is a blank formatted diskette".

most of the floppy drives in old samplers are possible to switch with new usb drive readers. these floppy emulators allow you to make plenty of virtual floppies stored on the usb sticks

I was the anon asking ~5 threads ago why doesn't my Linux box do DHCP. Apparently copying over an updated system from a mounted NFS share skips some files, such as /bin/cp as it's in use.
>have an updated Gentoo system built in a chroot on a 9001-thread PC with billions of RAM
>mount it on a weaker PC running the same Gentoo
>copy everything over to the root
>get some errors
Generally speaking, what's the difference when package management is overwriting files to their updated versions?

I want to try a full board with support for hall effect switches and a split spacebar. Is there any way to make a regular full board use two keys for spacebar?
>>
>>106752824
lots of custom boards have split space as an option, but usually only as a solder PCB you have to do yourself. but full size custom boards are unironically pretty rare even in just regular MX configuration. I don't even know about HE
>>
>>106752877
Is there a good reference for making or using custom boards?

I've built a keyboard by picking a case, pcb, switches, etc, but I'm not sure where to begin with actual customization.
>>
How can I ask for completely customized keyboard?
>>
>>106752993
>Is there a good reference for making or using custom boards?
you mean like a DIY project? I don't know but I'm sure it wouldn't actually be that difficult to design your own PCB, especially if it's just MX. HE I have absolutely no idea about.

I was just talking about custom in the sense that the board isn't prebuilt and the manufacturer gives you a bunch of options between case, plate, PCB, etc

Usually split space is only useful on like 40% boards where you're forced to use fn layers to get back regular functionality. What do you want it for on a 100% anyway?

>>106752592
I can play my entire game library on them including AAA slop. They're basically full computers in a handheld format.
I travel a lot so being able to play Vidya like this is great. Much better than a full sized laptop.
They're $1k because of tariffs and gauging. The handheld market is at its peak right now. Wait a few months or a year and the prices will be more reasonable. Or go previous gen, the improvements were marginal.
>>
>>106752531
This is why I never got eGPUs for laptops as well. It's just bonehead retarded.
If you're deployed to somewhere remote, a gaming laptop is still the better option.
If you're travelling, the last thing you should want is to waste time playing shitty games.

That is your misinterpretation.

the point is your control scheme is standardized. if you already do everything in emac then why have separate controls for window management and emac frame management. It's clunky and there's just more commands to remember when your programs can be treated as emac buffers.

The fault lies with AMD & Asrock btw

This element is the most despicable of all of this, the double mortality from kiketubers about hardware issues, how they pretend to be neutral but they do show preferencial treatment to one but not to the other(s). In this case with Raptor Lake, most of them were quick to point Intel as guilty (and Intel was guilty, no one denies that). Now on this ongoing issue, it apparently it does not exist as it is rarely mentioned, and in the small coverage given, AMD apparently is free of guilt, as if they don't specify guidelines to motherboard vendors on the voltages that they must provide to the chips. The excuse used to hide AMD of guilt, that Ass rock is the only one with this issue, is absolutely wrong as Asus boards too face this, proving that it is not a motherboard issue, but the chip itself or the guidelines provided for them.
But here something doesn't fit, as this has been largely ignored by those same kiketubers they pretend to be "consumer friendly", and they don't lay blame on AMD, only on the motherboard manufactures. Oh, but there is no favorites! Just buy AMD!! It just works!!
>>
>>106752860
In some ways, MB vendors do share the blame.
The shit with AMD is a compound of unrealistic standards. Vendors are doing anything to sell their slop and then AMD goes on reddit talking about shit their hardware actually isn't truly capable of.
Tech toobers also don't want to explain themselves when they say don't buy anything because their entire existence is based on graphs and telling people what to buy.

Everyone wants to delude themselves that the PC market somehow not in a bad spot.
>>
>>106749502
asrock am4 mobos don't do that. It indicates an x3d problem.
