As in, it didn't become immediately obvious the first time they played around with ChatGPT that extrapolating the progress outward even at a linear rate (rather than some s-curve exponential) would effectively spell the end of programming?
Why are they only now, with Claude 4.6, seeing the writing on the wall, and lamenting the death of their "craft?"

I don't give a damn about coding, I just use Kimi K2 (which has capabilities similar to Claude but since it's a low-cost Chinese model the hype didn't take off) to fill four lines of code in N8N nodes and even then I have to try five times to get a working result

People have been saying that coders are finished for a year now and yet today they're still around and have just as much work, employers are actually experiencing a shortage of coders
>>
One must realise that before we get to a data center full of geniuses, we must experience the data center full of Indians
This is where we are now

Apple is overpriced consumer grade slop. It's designed specifically for morons and NPCs who couldn't navigate a file system without a How To guide.
Anyone who shills Apple is an idiot, period. Anyone who has the slightest knowledge of anything tech does not use Apple products.
It's that simple.

lmao, Apple absolutely doesn't want people from 4chan as users.

Hell they even go out of their way to block any 4chan-related app from their stores.
And they started doing it way before the fappening, which the media blamed on this place and was ultimately an icloud leak.

do you trust it

If I can't play your game on linux, I don't want to.

Imagine being so goyed that you literally can't live without the newest call of doodoo. If your reason is league of legends, you should ask yourself next time after having 4 3rd world bots in your team, are you actually having fun or are you just addicted?

Linux is a meme, if linux could actually guarantee me 100% privacy and independance, I would consider using it even with all the caveats and sacrifices like having to pick my software/hardware specifically for linux to a degree and not having access to some vidya or modding tools, or just dealing with general jankiness like linux having fucked text rendering. But instead you still run hardware made by US that has proprietary firmware needs, you still run a proprietary bootloader, and you still most likely run proprietary shit in your distro or run generally pozzed software like Steam/Firefox that are spyware, and you become a even bigger target as Linux has like 50m users while Windows has over 1B and makes you much worse fingerprinting wise, I'd be surprised if there's even 10K linux users in my tiny yuro country so I'd glow like a fucking lamp in night. It's completely pointless, gimping myself for absolutely zero reason, like a retard.

>if linux could actually guarantee me 100% privacy and independance
If someone is using Linux or any other OS with this kind of motivation they're either sorely mistaken or much smarter than I am. Most people on this board use open source operating systems as a hobby, for fun. OP is expressing that they value this OS hobby over a gaming hobby.
>you still run hardware made by US
Israel actually. What about you?
>you still run a proprietary bootloader
That'll probably change soon in my case. What about you?
>you still most likely run proprietary shit in your distro
On my desktop I don't, I think. What about you?
>Steam/Firefox that are spyware
Any kind of connection to the internet is already opening you up to all kinds of spying. Do you use that kind of software?
>you become a even bigger target
Target of what? Sounds like delusions of grandeur.
>makes you much worse fingerprinting wise
They'll be able to single you out no matter the OS.

If you only play vidya and watch videos then Bazzite is a safe choice. If you need something more similar to Windows, then try Zorin. I won't be recommending Mint until they won't fully implement Wayland. Cachy and Pop are good too, but both are more complex for a noob.

Phear you're lookin' at it 'wrong' ... Only one o them predate XMPP... IRC.

The question *should* be: "what do discord, whatscrapp, telegram, slack, teams, etc add that XMPP didn't?" .... Especially with the number of offerings based on XMPP... Why did the users pick the cucked options so hard...

I ask my self the same question a while ago.
That Is because the people are lazy and retard. They don't compare pros and cons only pick the first crap that is in front of them.
And do not give a shit about security or privacy, all they are looking for is about "convenience" and then fall over evident traps.

that being said. fucking normies REEEEEEE...

Yeah, No.
Ok, let’s assume AI comes up with a way to solve the debt issue. Then what? We actually would have to follow through with it and that’s where it’s gonna fail.
Also, what happens, if the solution isn’t popular?
Let’s assume AI says
>yeah, the right wing shizos are actually right, we gotta remove a certain people and close the borders
Do you think anyone besides said far right shizos will accept this? Or the other way round? AI says
>Sorry, but communism is the solution for our problems

Yeah, not gonna happen either.

AI working out means we automate enough jobs that only a tiny fraction of people actually need to work and you won't end up with everyone becoming old and basically being told to die or for the entire population to do nothing up support the elderly.

Remember that systemd mount units exist, you can use them as drop-ins for mount points.
>>108110366
Two different things. The file manager thing puts stuff under /media, dynamically, while fstab contains a list of fixed mount points.
And yes, I too think Linux systems are missing a simple tool for the task of assigning fixed mount points.
