I have a question regarding LoRA training. I have multiple triggers. Some images have 8 of them, some have as little as 1. How do I work around this when it comes to Keep Tokens? Trim down the images with too many triggers and too little to find a middle ground? Set it to 8 regardless?
>>1075563488 triggers? What exactly are you trying to do? Just use different image subsets with different keep token amounts set though

Is it better just to buy an internal NAS drive I can put in a spare computer as a backup drive than buying an external HDD? Excluding lack of convenience aside.
>>107520568post the mediainfo output
>>107556157HDD's in those external caddies get basically zero ventilation, you rely on a power plug & usb and there's a non-zero chance someone will knock an external drive over while it's running. If you have the choice I would always go for a proper internal mounting. External drives can be cheaper though, so still buy it. Just lookup exactly the model of external drive you are buying first so you don't run into weird issues. No warranty when shucked either, so either keep the case and be careful or just accept it.

I don't have any interest in what goes on there, who is there, or anything to do with them at all. If there is any crucial cultural aspect to this place it's that it doesn't have those things. The lack of those things, in and of itself, is what makes this place what is should be, needs to be, and is. That's literally it, and whatever demographics, attitudes, "vibes", etc. that emerge from it organically is its true culture. Certain types of people are drawn to this place because of those things above all other aspects, and within those certain types, there's a vast range of sub-types, which is a feature and not a bug.

>>107556293the whole survey is suffering from the same thing.do you want to know why i switched to linux from windows, 10 years ago, when i did it? reframe all the questions then. or if youre literally just looking for people who jumped ship in the last month, make that known so i wouldnt have wasted my time.
>>107556311It’s not a “recent switchers only” survey, and it doesn’t assume people are non-technical anymore, which I'm grateful to you to for.Long-term switchers are still valid respondents because the study is about barriers and motivations around making the switch, not just the moment it happened. People like you can speak to what pushed you to switch, what frictions mattered, and what stuck long-term.But I’m not going to reframe the entire survey over a wording issue.
>>107555115I ain't doing no survey, but to answer your question: It was seeing Windows continue to get worse with no end in sight. Windows 7 was really the last great Windows OS. I skipped 8 and went to 10. 10 was usable, for the most part. But Microsoft kept fucking with things and you had set registry keys to fix it, and then a few updates later they would change the keys you'd need to set. The final straw was the release of 11 and how much worse it seemed then even 10. At that time I started to make a real effort to switch to Linux. I knew Microsoft was eventually going to force the switch and I didn't want to be caught with my pants down when it happened.I had used Linux previously for random projects but never seriously as my main desktop. In the past I had used a combination of Debian and LXQT. I liked LXQT, but wanted a few more features for my main desktop and so went for Debian with KDE. My first attempt to switch did not go well. It was a stuttery mess that I had tried to troubleshoot for a few weeks before giving up and returning to Windows 10. This was likely due to a combination of Debian's old drivers and the GTX 1080 I had at the time. A few months later I tried again with KDE Neon, because I figured if any distro would give me a good experience with KDE, it would be their own. And it was great, and I still run KDE Neon now. I will say KDE 6 is perhaps not as polished as 5 was, but I still do like KDE.
The best and brightest C programmers agree: Rust belongs in the Linux kernel!https://lwn.net/Articles/1049831/This board tries it's best to portray C and Rust as polar opposites, but in the end they serve the same purpose. Good C programmers have always respected Rust programmers and vice versa. Only the fizzbuzzers and jeets want a language war between C and Rust. Why do they want it? Because if you split the systems language ecosystem, there will be less competition to their electron/react garbage (see Windows 11 start menu)Everyone except Indians agrees that anything written in Rust or C is much better than electron garbage. That is why it is important to be friends and allies, not enemies

Looking at one handed/small keyboards for gaming. Is there any better than the Razer models? I wanted something smallish. I don't want anything wider than about 7 inches. Plank/OLKB did not seem like it would work to me. Split keyboards I don't know will work if you only plug in a half of one.
