https://github.com/danTheMonk/comfyui-int-and-float

used with math and the int node, I guess.

like int node, set to 0, increment (so it will be 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 etc)

connect to a math node to multiply by 0.1. so it will be (0, .1, .2, .3, .4 etc)

then convert to float?

sounds like it might work. idk how others do it tho

Actually takes quite a huge magnet to do anything, easier would be a AC magnetic coil eraser. Even for HDDs that still wouldn't do anything.

I downloaded an image from the internet today and it wasn't a WEBP nor an AVIF. It was a plain jane PNG. I didn't have to convert it to a JPEG to post it to 4chan. I just downloaded the image and then posted the image. It was like 2017 all over again, super retro.

It is actually happening. It is over for GNOME/KDE duopoly. A third competitor has entered the chat.
Will KDE and GNOME even be able to compete given that they have 30 years worth of legacy code?

It will wind down before Q2 27, it's just doomers and people that don't actually read the news that is jerking off to 3 year + line. 3-5 factories going up now. PC parts market is extremely predictable, they saw this coming a mile away, easy to plan around. ex CEO micron has confirmed this.

There has never been a better time to be buying used predicting the next two years, especially if you buy different parts at different times. Weird how DYI PC building is a some mystical ancient art nowadays.

>>gee, I wonder who might be pushing the agenda that people shouldn't have more kids cause it's bad for the planet or some other retard talking point.
Literally, no one ever. People don't have kids because they can't afford them while keeping the same standards of living once an economy begins to stagnate. The phenomenon started before the whole planet crisis was even a thing, in Italy fertility rates collapsed sharply and suddenly in the early 1980s, and it interests places, like China, that are frankly the opposite of what you're likely referring to. Only the likes of Musk and Ursula Von Der Layen can afford to have a lot of kids. Guess why.
>gee, I wonder who fucked the economy so badly that households couldn't be supported by a single provider.
>guess our only solution is to import 500 million somali refugees
Jews and... guess who? Jews. It's not even a solution and everyone know it, it's just yet another strategy to keep cost of labour low. But it's hardly the only one. Looking at the tree instead of the forest?

>hurr durr, the women are taking away my job and dignity, mama!!!"
I don't see any issue with the concept that women should/could work, they always did that to an extent or another (art-related, Artemisia Gentileschi anyone?). You'd fit well in Somalia with a mentality like that, anyway. Consider reverse-immigration.

And nah, I love to rustle the jimmies of edgy fascist boys. It's one thing that makes me feel alive.

I got 3 years of tech support exp, and 2 years of dev exp.

I can't list my last job since I got PIP'd for unfair things out of my control (fuck that third party company)

Do I just list that previous exp as "contract" work with similar duties and not disclose the name of the company I worked for because "I signed an NDA"?

It sucks cause even though it feels good to not list it, I feel like with a giant gap from May onward, I feel like that is boning me too
>>
>>107563586
You could easily become a software engineer if the market were better, tons of stories of spreadsheet wizards changing careers into fulltime software engineering
>>
>>107565296
Were you fired or laid off? If you weren't fired, then I'd list the company, they won't dig that deep into why you were booted
>>
>>107565409
I left resigned voluntarily.

I just have been getting sick of explaining why I left. I have been telling recruiters I left because of rumors of layoffs (which is partially true since they reorg'd in March, and were most likely going to get bought out soon anyway).

I feel like it has hurt me more than would ever help me.

It truly wasn't a good fit since management sucked and they threw me under the bus. I hate how I can never be that brutally honest either

Feels like I'm screwed either way

All I know if I will never want to do another API integrations role like that again for marketers. They're the dumbest people I have ever worked with, and are obsessed with low code platforms due to their low IQs.
>>
>>107565458
Just tell them you got laid off and couldn't find a job because AI

explain to me like im retarded (i am) why AI isnt trained on a more rudimentary level, like on logic, symbolism, pattern recognition etc instead of just being a chat bot that prints out words that dont make sense and arent true a large fraction of the time

Because there isn't much to learn. The rules of logic are ridiculously simple. The problem is their application. It requires understanding, requires the idea of causality. As long as "AI" doesn't already have this faculty that every life form has, even the most primitive at least rudimentary as perception, it can't apply these abstract rules (can't project them, can't imagine them) on anything new you feed it. Pattern recognition btw is a misleading term. It's not the patterns as such but their necessary relations (i.e. causality) that are recognized.
>>
>>107564085
chatbot parrots make investors go "OMG IT'S LE ALIVE JUST LIEK ME! LEMME PRINT MORE MONEY!" BRRRRR
>>
>>107564044
Train what on logic? There isn't any mind in the electronics and software you're trying to "train". They can only parrot what you feed them.

To make them work like a mind, we'd have to fully understand our own minds and then replicate the biology of our minds. Because ours work based on live connections, emotions, perceptions, vague associations. Things we don't fully understand either, but we have an unfounded confidence that we do.

How could we train them to doubt "themselves" and others including their trainers. That level of cognitive interactivity can only come from being alive and going through the same shit we do. You can't have the peaks of human cognition without all the shittery and tragedy that comes with it. No skin in the game
>>
>>107565226
No, investors are not this stupid. They understand how much human work can be replaced by LLMs. Amazon does not pay humans to assist (influence) customers but can cheaply fake the experience of asking another human about a product and getting a convincing answer. I recently learned this myself when I was interested in a USB4 SSD case and just wanted to know the length of the cable it comes with. I was surprised about the satisfying effect it had on me. Even despite my knowledge that I was dealing with a LLM! I was aware and critical but most people are not and will be easy to influence, not just with purchases but also with much more serious, much more important decisions. It's the mirror neurons in the human brain that are to be blamed for this, they are our weak spot that makes us resonate with anything that even only appears to be an alter ego.
>>
>>107564044
for that to be of any use you need an algorithm to go from data to logic and back if llm can only output formal logic answers what the fuck use is it

Considering half the shit is web based anyways it practically doesn't matter anymore, if there's a functional browser then you can run most people's needs, and normies use electron apps not real software so that also doesn't matter

Because the EU is not one single big country, it's a collection of 27 states.

Good luck getting them to agree on anything in less than a year.
Also this means capital is fragmented in national markets and there's not enough mega hyper concentration of wealth that could fund mega uber corporations that would have global footprint.

So there is cloud in Europe too but they're smaller corps.
>>
>>107563443
And then watch them be irrelevant microstates.
People who say that are either idiots or useful iditios who want to see US jews control each small Euro state after they all collectively become weaker.
>>
>>107564965
The EU was formed specifically to fuck over America.
This is bad for America. Ergo, anyone who cares about America first and foremost wants the EU gone.

if china is dumping then why do they let vw et al sell freely into china, and with sizable market share to boot?
and why do mutts never talk about services dumping? the whole game is literally to dump until you've got an "ecosystem" where everyone else is choked out and that's your "moat". the priest class ie. the tech midwits don't see an issue with any of this obviously.

Those are Chinese companies making and selling foreign cars in China. Basically, the foreign company has a minority stake and has to forego a large chunk of profit to be able to sell in the Chinese market at all. Tesla was the first to get permission to make its own cars with its own Chinese factories.

EU wants the big 5 countries to each have their own industry so that no one country has full power over the rest. France is slated to be the nuclear powerhouse of EU. That's why Germany completely got rid of all their plants and others are heading that way.
