The problem with this shit has always been that they have minuscule budgets, they pay even more minuscule wages to artists and animators and shit ends up looking like this in the end, plus, these people most of the time blow their budgets in the first 3 or 4 episodes and they have to scramble to produce the rest of the show.
I remember Yuri on ice producer or director coming to say that they blew their budget in the first episodes so the animation was shit on the latter ones.

I'm actually rocking that very model in OP's post (HF I think, just a standard drive), I found it on the side of the road. I spray painted it black and it came out real nice, doesn't look shitty at all. I bought some new old stock floppy disks and backed up some passwords and other small shit. Windows constantly tries to read it when it's empty and it's a retarded format anyway so I disabled it. Nothing wrong with having the option though, my old ass motherboard still has a floppy connector on it.

No, it goes down to 2.5V and then springs back to life as if nothing happened.
It's not healthy to do so often, but one instance of overdischarge will not do any measurable harm.
I extract Li-ion batteries from disposable vapes that could spend weeks in the rain and their (dead) batteries pass all the tests once charged, with 95-105% of the rated capacity still intact.
