>>107568548Tubes are a meme. What's the amp even for? Speakers? They'd better have high sensitivity, because most tube amps don't have much power.
>>107568548As far as tube amps go Luxman is a solid place to start id avoid any amps that use the 50ca10 tube though as they aren't readily available I think the models are MQ60 MQ68 KMQ60 KMQ68 I believe one of the SQ38s use them as well? I'd recommend the Luxman MQ70 nice straight forward amp that uses Push pull EL34 to get 45wpc which is enough for most speakers there is also the MQ50 which is a bit more power at 50wpc but uses 6550/KT88 which may not be as tube sounding as the EL34 amp previously mentioned. If you want to get a little more fancy and use monoblocks there are the Luxman MB3045 and MB88 do note there are a few different versions of the MB88 that span from the 60s to early 90s.Pic rel my pair of MB3045
Pleather on my zik 3 is flaking. Please advise. Not an audiophile I just don't want to let go
>>107532980>XM6It's worse than XM4, if xm4 were good for you then keep using itXM6 has a faint unilateral whistle in ANC mode, the sound signature is arguably worse too and they hiss like shit in wired active mode even without ANC.Xm4 latency is slightly over 200ms, it's bad for gaming but at least it worksSennheiser BT headphones have hissing and buzz from using shitty cheapass qualcomm DAC, be warned.Anything is better, just look up frequency response graphs on reviews before buying so you don't end up with something that have piercing highs

Every single year AI companies are spending hundreds of billions of dollars making barely any revenue in return. When will AI turn a profit? How do you lose $143B of tax payers' dollars in just a couple of years?
>>107543848heres the neat part:it doesnt.
>>107571137Which is odd that they are giving these fags bazillions of dollars without any oversight by federal organizations that actually make weapons, like the DoD and DoE. You also don't hear anything about what the actual government is up to with AI. Pretty sure the DoE has compute capabilities that rival or exceed any private company.
Some are just early participants in a Ponzi, so they win regardless of outcome.Others are true believers in AGI and data centers are the infrastructure, even if LLM is not the way to it.
>>107543848>How do you lose $143B of tax payers' dollars in just a couple of years?Only 143B$?These niggas are spending literally trillions of dollars building fucking datacenters all across the world, even if it's circular money that gets shuffled across the same 3 coroporations, that's still trillions of dollars that they will never recoup unless they reuse those datacenters.
>>107543848it does not need to make money.twitter and youtube has always been lossmaking.youtube losses billions every year but they are ok with that as long as it is the most visited website on the internet.

Buttfield-Addison, author of several books on Swift, found his Apple account closed after he attempted to pay for his iCloud subscription using an Apple gift card. Buttfield-Addison contacted the retailer, an unnamed "major brick-and-mortar retailer," which reissued the code after suggesting it may have been compromised. Shortly after that, he was locked out of his account. The Apple developer said that he's been signed out of iMessage, can't access his iCloud account, is unable to access terabytes' worth of family photos stored on Apple servers, and has basically been blackballed from the Apple ecosystem. "My iPhone, iPad, Watch, and Macs cannot sync, update, or function properly," Buttfield-Addison said. "I have lost access to thousands of dollars in purchased software and media." Apple support staff reportedly refused to to tell him why his account was banned and said that escalating the matter "won't lead to a different outcome." Even if Apple manages to resolve the issue, Buttfield-Addison isn't sure he's going to take another chance on iBiz after this kerfuffle. "I will leave as fast as I can even if this is fixed," he told us. "I do mean that literally." He told us he's looking at switching to Linux for his laptops and an Android device for his future smartphone. It'll be hard, Buttfield-Addison noted, but he doesn't feel Apple has left him with much recourse. Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2025/12/uk-to-encourage-apple-and-google-to-put-nudity-blocking-systems-on-phones/>The UK government reportedly will “encourage” Apple and Google to prevent phones from displaying nude images except when users verify that they are adults.>The forthcoming push for nudity-blocking systems was reported by the Financial Times today. The report said the UK won’t institute a legal requirement “for now.” But asking companies to block nude images could be the first step toward making it mandatory if the government doesn’t get what it wants.>The Home Office “has initially focused on mobile devices,” but the push could be expanded to desktops, the FT said. Government officials point out that Microsoft can already scan for “inappropriate content” in Microsoft Teams, the report said.
