>>107830091>>107830663My first suggestion would be to flip the layout and have the desk on the other wall. This layout right now, you have to go through all the desks and bookshelves, just to sit.(Cardinal directions are assumed because of the image).Try this and see how you like it in your head:1: desk should be on the western wall (320cm long one).2: Either up top, in the center of that 320cm wall or down south at the corner.3: The center would be ideal imho, then you could have your bookshelves on either side. Hell, you could have two up north east.
i still dont get it.

What was the most disturbing thing you've found on the dark web?
>>107840026I have two on the top of my head and only one of them was widely reported on. How many do I have to look up to prove to you that the purpose of a system is what it does and giving the government any incentive to end the lives of its citizens in objectively a bad thing

>>107842239>China good because… Le CIAHow about they both just see you as cattle and want to control your life? I understand the justifiable skepticism for the US. But pretending that Pooh and gang are your personal saviors and friend is flat out profound mental retardation
Risc-v is slower and shitter than ARM. China already has LoongArch for high performance stuff. RISC-V is just for microcontrollers now; I doubt the RISC-V SoC stuff will ever take off to the degree that it becomes better than ARM.
>>107842542ARM spent over 30 years stuck inside microcontrollers. made an appearance in unaffordable computers in 1987 and disappeared out of that space and reappeared as a microcontroller for mobile devices. most applications of ARM today are microcontrollers. now RISC-V is eating a piece of that market: time for the mental breakdown and cope posts from /g/'s most tech illiterate nigger species.> I doubt the RISC-V SoC stuff will ever take off that's because you are an uneducated nigger that eats ticks and fleas that you pick out of your wife's boyfriend's fur.
>>107842650sure sure. the fact is that all of the riscv boards are slow and useless beyond very light tasks.
>>107842286Not disagreeing in the slightest, but I vacilliate wondering if it's better to be backdoored by a nation I live in that can jail me, versus one I'm never going to step foot in.

>>107842069tbf CRTs are harder to carry than the weight alone would indicate due to the awkward shape and weight distribution (all being at the front face)>>107840106I'm surprised there was nothing closer. I guess consumer sets are finally becoming rare? How's the picture on that toshiba? My dad had a 36" HD toshiba tube and honestly I hated it. The TV line count wasn't actually high enough to warrant it being HD, so the slot mask made it look like it had these ugly thin vertical jailbars making up the image.
Great for games like AM2R and Sonic Mania that are clearly based on retro games designed for CRTs
>>107842585>But yeah, I'll probably just use the thing as a dedicated Youtube/video screenThan those cheapo HDMI adapters are okay.
>>107842596That's just Toshiba doing their best to keep the CRT HDemons from escaping their roomy 36" cage

>>107841689He meant a "person like Linus Torvalds" would never use AI. The man worships Linus.
>>107831376that seems about rightif you're copy pasting bullshit from stack overflow or some random tutorials and just plug and praying until it kind of works, fixing any obvious mistakes, maybe throwing it all away and starting from scratch with another tutorial or stack overflow answer, you might as well just let AI do itthat's what's actually being automated. copy pasting and adjusting other people's codethat's also what a lot of professional software developers were already doing, so them turning to AI no questions asked is not surprising
>>107843020sure, and i'm saying the man he thinks of as linus torvalds is someone who spends every waking moment thinking about linux. i'm sure linus proper has other things he want to do with his time, perhaps even mundane things others do like shortcutting something by using 5 year old technology to skip the boring parts of something he actually wants to do

Apple dongle powers my HD600 with no issue. I don't need more.
>>107842518The headphones just barely don't go down long enough to go over my ears. If I take off the headband foam strip they do. If I do end up keeping them I think I'll cut open that headband and take out the foam and just leave the velcro strap to keep it covered. The lack of padding doesn't bother me just want that spot not to be exposed.

>>107842427that board has been out a year and is still lacking basic functionality that they used in the advertising. stop giving money to arm manufacturers that shit out hardware and don't provide software support. they should be mainlining drivers as they release these boards and not dumping the responsibility onto others.
