>>107814445It gets worse too. They have recently been pushing to rename MS Office to Copilot, so Word for instance is now a part of Copilot. Can't make this shit up
>>107806541I tried opencode. It looks alright. I am not good at orchestrating agents or contexts tho but I am testing local context file and local journals so I can log what has been done and just hop between different agents once I run out of contexts. I wonder how far can I get like that on a simple project
>>107814458I mean at least the logic behind there is that everything is becoming AI-first, so you're using copilot to write your documents AND to ask questions. Or something.Copilot (on github) is simply a completely separate LLM and a completely separate product, it's not like they extended it so you use the same thing to autocomplete your code and to ask questions, they're just entirely different and separate.
do you use spec-driven context like openspec?

Anonimity never existed on the internet to begin with. Anonimity is against the internet architecture.
>>107814370Wrong. You can have anonymity of user (here), anonymity of IP (tor, VPN), and now even anonymity of payment (monero). Technologies like PrivacyPass improve the situation even further. The internet allows for levels of anonymity never before possible since the anonymity set is worldwide.

>>107815252this works with other models too like GLM and deepseek but I always feel like the responses is lacking sovl like kimi is able to provide. if it isn't a kimi thing then somehow ubergarm managed to put sovl in his Q4_KSS quant which i really doubt. i don't use the API for these models because you are just fighting against another filter in that case most times.
>>107815171
>>107815292>>107815252That's fair enough, I have noticed similar things with Kimi in particular, but GLM gets pretty retarded from it. With SOTA models it just doesn't do much, Opus 4.1 and 4.5 in general are just kind of stuck the way they are, presets only do minimal changes. Gemini 3 can be steered via thinking to a degree, but they kind of fail at characterizing with emotional intelligence.

>>107812195The HD560s is noticeably less comfortable than the SHP9500, though sonically it's largely an upgrade. You're better off with the Audio-Technica R50x. It's a bit brighter than the neutral HD560s, but significantly more comfortable.
Isn't this and the treble spike a bad thing?
Just thought I'd say this for anyone that cares about the ideaI recently set up my subwoofer for VR, so I have decent bass extension with shitty open ear quest speakers powered by a cell phone on my face. It also shakes the floor. I think it's loud enough that it triggers the microphone in multiplayer games. It's awesome and I can't go back. Next I want to buy a real driver and real power and try to achieve some infrasound. Explosions thumping your body would behoove VR.Nobody you know plays VR. But this open ear headphone + subwoofer combo is probably a good middle step if you want to get into home theater without buying all at once and you mainly intend to watch it by yourself.
>>107814515I don't know shit about shit because I'm not a headphone guy, but it looks like the treble ruins the bass more than the roll off at 40hz. You'll turn the headphones up until the treble is too loud at +10 and that line will be your listening level, now your bass is -10 db down from that and half as loud. If it was pretty flat then just lost -5db on the way to 20hz that wouldn't be a big deal.
>>107788449I'd like to have a decent pair of speakers but there's just no place for them on my desk (unless i do some shit like moving the pc to the bottom which i really don't want to for a number of reasons), and i'd not use these as my main listening device anyways (i normally use headphones)what if instead of replacing my crusty logikeks with some creative pebbles or edifier g2000 ii (both of which would still barely fit when it comes to the right speaker) I just place a pair of bookshelf speakers on the shelf above my setup?surely that's going to fuck up tonality/imaging/sound quality in general to the point where i'm better off with some cheap pc speakers right? or could it actually work?also what about soundbars? is the general consensus still that they suck and most importantly lack any amount of stereo separation?thanks in advance to anyone that helps.

I’ve been lurking for a decade, but I have something worth sharing.I’m a physicist (Rice Space Physics) working on my own framework called Axiomatic Physical Homeostasis (APH), which models how Earth’s magnetosphere "relaxes" into stable shapes after solar storms. It occurred to me that Monte Carlo Path Tracing is doing it the hard way treating light like individual particles bouncing around. In plasma physics, we treat the field as a Stressed Fluid. I define a Geometric Stiffness (beta) for the vacuum and let it relax. The Experiment:- Seed: Shoot <1 ray per pixel (extremely noisy/stressed state).- Relax: Run a matrix multiplication on Tensor Cores minimizing the Geometric Stress of the light field. The Result:The light field snaps into the correct global illumination almost instantly. It preserves temporal inertia (no noise when moving the camera) because the field has mass.Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
