Zoomer here. I heard from my teacher today that phones used to have a slot like the sim card one where you could put in those digital camera memory sd cards in it. Why did no one complain when this happened?

>I tried to buy a replacement, but every "new" battery I found was almost a decade old and they all as useless as the original one or worse after being stored for so long
For popular devices, you can easily find a chinaman who's happy to tell you a new battery rated for more capacity than the original battery. But when you get it you notice it's suspiciously lightweight, unwrap it and find a much smaller lower capacity cell with some bits of plastic or foam around it to pad it out to the required size.

>>107851697
Good for you. Sony doesn't sell phones in my country anymore.

Same and it's not even 3 years old yet, with an OLED screen, NFC, under screen fingerprint reader, quality camera, etc.
Granted, swapping the battery does require opening the phone but it uses tabs and I can order a genuine new battery straight from the manufacturer.

I still have SD card on a brand new phone

Dual sim too

And a 3.5mm jack

Why do you need 24GB of VRAM? What will you do with it that 16GB can't? Most people don't need more than 12 and you NEET highschool dropout hobbyists can get by just fine with 8GB for your projects and old games.

I worked at a company run by indians, who were setting up israeli SIM-internet-activated devices with microphones and backup batteries into 10's of 1000s of peoples' homes (many jokes were made about mossad backdoors). Everything was done horribly manually taking at least 10x more time and effort than needed, and adding lots of chances for mistakes and errors. According to one of the white idiots carrying that company on their backs they were getting jewed (who would have guessed) over the manufacturer's software that can mass-configure all devices at once, so instead it was decided to do it all individually and manually instead.

When I was sick of doing shitty pick&pack warehousing for the supposed IT job and told the jeet manager to jam it up his arse, he pathetically tried to bait me into punching him so he could dismiss me or report me for assault or some shit. I am not retarded like him, so I didn't fall for it. The white company founder and HR were very interested to hear about it during the exit interview. It was on camera too. Get fucked.

If you so much as use an adblocker you don't show up on this site at all and they aren't partnered with any other major brokers like google or cloudflare that have the net traffic presence to see through adblockers. statcounter is notoriously buggy and unreliable. look at their 2023 data lmfao

>>
>>107855897
statcounter, being a useless piece of shit site run from a mail box in an industrial park in ireland, relies 100% on javascript embedded in many websites that read user agents. since people can set their user agent to whatever they like, you end up with "unknown" percentage (usually when a browser completely denies access to the user agent data or gives it nothing) and crazy shit like apple being "14%" and "10%" despite only having an 8% market share at any given time (lots of people are using mac os and osx in emulators in 2026).

statcounter is an embarrassing joke.

>>107855914
this is correct

>>107856328
statcounter pay websites to include their javascript to mine any connecting users of data. if you use firefox and noscript, statcounter gets nothing. this is why when you see browser usage on this trash site, firefox rarely ranks highly because they're not able to get any useful information from those browsers as most people use noscript and ublock origin.

I am buying a Google Pixel 7a because my Samsung A03s doesn't work with voicemail and doesn't charge properly.

What am I in for buying a Google Pixel 7a? What did I do wrong with my Samsung?

Is Google Pixel 7a a good phone? I heard mixed things about Google Pixels being slow but other things about it being really useful. The one I am getting is octa-core and has 128 gigabytes.

Why 7a specifically? I don't know how many rupees you can spare, but 8a, 9a, or even last couple years of flagships are pretty cheap. A like-new condition Pixel 9 Pro is under $500.
