A trick I learned from a friend is to just do enough to make rent/bills and then a little more so you can have extra. It’s even easier if you have a part time job to lessen the burnout.Pricing is a bit harder, but your work is great. Try $50-$75. That way it equals to a minimum wage for a day of work. If they complain, let them complain, personalized art IS a luxury.

Though problems with spammers keep it lowish.>It's somehow worse than /vg/There's a good reason for that.I don't want to derail your thread with all the deets, but in the most basic compressed form:>/vg/ drawthread sucks because of spammer a who has been at it for many years causing problems>spammer a is on most boards drawthreads, and is also on /co/s>/co/s drawthread also has spammer b, who has also been at it for many years, and has previously been on others boards drawthreads, causing problems>spammer a and b hate each others guts in a long standing autistic feud between them that's traveled across drawthreads for over 5-6 years, both are cut of the same cloth in how they act and spam, and when they are both in a drawthread, it suffers massively Sometimes I think artists can put blinders on to the drama and just draw what they like in a general drawthread, but at the same time I understand going "fuck this" and just leaving because a previously nice place has been ruined for the long term. It's far easier to just venture into character/series focused threads and draw there, and/or start your own thread for characters/series you like and dump art or take reqs that way.

That is a good reason to make a thread. Also great Dess animation, the RGB hair is neat...there's a name for that process, it was done on that cartoon Chowder, I forget tho.
