I can’t believe it took a 30 minute video to say what we already knew, which is that 10mm Auto is the superior automatic handgun cartridge, and that only after having to water it and then .40 S&W down for the women, manlets, and fags in the FBI did they just settle on 9mm because there was no difference at that point. Amazing.
>But muh fire rate!
Literally doesn’t matter in a combat scenario, doubly so if your shots don’t actually land. Paul Harrell already established this in his 1986 Miami Dade shootout analysis.

Lift weights and carry 10mm, anons.

>more reliably accomplishes all of these
>“Overkill” is a silly Jewish word
My argument is that you're overstating the difference in performance
>Learn to reload
This would have you spending more time at the bench than range
>I have more trigger time than you and every cop
That would be very impressive if you had a kill count to show for it. Grave fillers use 9x19, simple as
>you are, in fact, a European
No, I'm the American that posted the image you have for the OP
>ignoring ones where it hasn’t
10mm doesn't compensate for poor marksmanship so it's irrelevant for the purposes of demonstration
>>
>>64745717
>My argument is that you're overstating the difference in performance
The fact is that I’m not. I’ve killed deer within average body weight for human beings with both 9mm and 10mm handguns using JHP projectiles within comparable ranges, with comparable barrel lengths, lung shots for both. When cutting open and examining the tissue, there is a marked difference in the tissue disruption from 10mm. More tissue disruption is always going to be more lethal. That is an immutable fact. That lol9mm is “good enough” because we have limp-wrists who can’t handle 10mm does not invalidate that 10mm is more lethal. More lethality = guaranteed elimination of threat with shots on target.
>This would have you spending more time at the bench than range
Learn how to set dies and what a progressive reloader is.
>That would be very impressive if you had a kill count to show for it. Grave fillers use 9x19, simple as.
Only because that is statistically the most likely cartridge to have been used given its commonality. This same logic also applies to people believing 9mm is “perfectly adequate” for bear defense because they don’t understand statistical analysis and sample size.
>No, I'm the American that posted the image you have for the OP
You need to understand the facts I’m giving you then and gain more education and experience before you post another one.
>10mm doesn't compensate for poor marksmanship so it's irrelevant for the purposes of demonstration
Poor marksmanship makes all calibers useless. Good marksmanship + 9mm will still be less effective than good marksmanship + 10mm. I never once acted like you didn’t need good marksmanship. The fact of the matter is, if you cannot be fast, accurate, and repeatable with 10mm Auto, you should not be in law enforcement.

Everything I’ve laid out in this response has already been said multiple times beforehand. We’re going in circles at this point because you’re either illiterate or refuse to be wrong.

The rubber has to meet the road and you're telling me I have to invest for a new gun and reloading equipment before it actually does. I'm just sceptical of the 10mm endorsement from the man who doesn't have an optic nor WML on his EDC + durr gun, no offense

Why was Austria Hungry so bad at war during WWI? They were a diverse, multiethnic country and since diversity is strength shouldn't they have been able to rape and gape the bongs, frogs and commies? Did they have inferior firearms or artillery or something?

>They were a country
And this is where you're effectively wrong already. Austria-Hungary was effectively two countries that happened to have the same head of state.
>>
People shit on AH a lot. But I think they deserve *some* credits for being able to hold out as much they have on 3 simultaneous fronts with the dysfunctioning multilingual army(ies - since Hungarian Honved was separate) they had.
Everyone was busy justifying their own governments post war, so nobody was there to neturally assess the empire.
Nationalist sentiment was a meme. I mean it was a problem, but mostly for the rich and educated people. The poor didn't care. And Princip got bullied to death in prison for the assassination, it's funny.
>>
>>64744538
The fun thing, the Italians never kinda sorta really won against the AH. The best they did was to contain their offensive (that was already running on fumes, because the fucking Hapsburg military was starving) and when the Royal&Imperial Army started collapsing because everyone went home the Italians desperately tried to get some kind of victory to prove they did something of value and weren't simply clobbered like seals for the entirey of the conflict (Vittorio Veneto).
If you stop for a moment, the survival of AH was nothing short of amazing, they had terrible industry, had to work with half of their country being Hungarians and nonetheless they managed to kinda sorta drag on with a war against the serbs, the russians and a knife in the back from the italians.
Amazing they endured as much as they did.
>>
>>64746101
The main force at Karfreit were the Germans.
>>
>>64746160
Yes, and Rommel was surrounded by cheering Italian troops happy that the war was over and they were free from Savoy slavery.
"Caporetto was all the Germans" has always been a bit of propaganda to justify the collapse. Not unfounded, but often exaggerated.

And here I thought our inflation was bad...
>>
>>64745064
Definitely collectible as a high end Ceradyne. As for others, the MH3 CQBs would be over $5k a set. 96034s about $4,892 a set (and that's what Delta paid for them in a bulk ~<160 plate order, not civ price because those were never sold to civs).
Ceradyne's best plates got really expensive back in the day. They were one of the few ceramic plate manufacturers that made their own strike faces from scratch, not like Hesco / Highcom / LTC / RMA, who just get their ceramics from Bitossi or Coors or St. Gobain. This meant Ceradynes had a performance edge because they could dope and add additives to their ceramics freely. Now that they're defunct, some of their stuff like boron-enriched boron carbide is essentially lost technology.
>>
>>64744639
Glad to help, those are some nice plates. Make sure to run IIIA soft armor behind them. Also maybe foam pads, but in front of the plates to make up for lost drop protection. I would double down on having them x-rayed. I'm sure there's a lab nearby.

>12.7x55 and 9x39
I remember there was an STS-120UPU, a 1,219gr tungsten penetrator which tried to replace 12.7x55 VPS, at some point. There was also an ammo collectors' website that said Russians with OSV-96s and other 12.7x108 guns were reloading both 1,179 grain VPS and UPU into 12.7x108 as a supersonic, extremely armor-blind penetrator. They would be absolutely brutal vs ceramics if pushed to the 700m/s range. Similar to the 12.7x108 loads from Winchester-Olin sent to the Mujahadeen to punch through Hinds.
>BR5+
If it's true the new Granits are only doped Alumina, maybe ZTA, then get the mfg in contact with Shandong Yasai in China immediately, upgrade to TiB2-SiC. You'd save pounds.
>.50 cal BABT
That's the one area where, per the L. Cannon paper, behind armor blunt trauma can be extremely serious. .50 cal plates need to be massively built up. Part of the reason why they aren't a regular thing is that they need to be about 1.5" thick or more, which won't fit in many normal PCs.
>BR6
Yep, it's like VPAM. Thing is though, both Atlas and I think FORT advertised BR6 plates at one point. The Atlas was a piece of shit, not sure about the FORT, and I'm not talking ACP-G or ACP-M.

First of all, Al2O3 is not aluminum, it's
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminium_oxide
To your question about aluminum the metal: I don't know; I'm leaning on no because I've never seen it used in papers about concrete, and trust me, if something even vaguely works in concrete there are a million papers written on it. To mention a few, I've seen: wood chips, wood dust, toxic copper mine tailings, crushed corundum for small arms ballistic resistance, pig iron as coarse aggregate, glass waste, rice husk ash as silica fume replacement, end-to-end fiber optic cables as replacement for windows, etc.

This building reacts like this due to it's prefabricated concrete pannel design. It wasn't tried by only socialist states but also western states.

In the 1960s a gas explosion in London England caused one pannel section to cascade through flats below it causing a horrific disaster and so this construction method is not used much anymore.

one thing about 1911s is some have the feed ramp built into the barrel and others are built in the frame. I think one over the other allows reliable hollow point cycling but ball ammo usually fixes feed problems. "git bettur ghun" is solid advice because damn it theres ALOT of weird 1911s out there and most cannot handle hot ammo either to get around their hollow point deficiency. maybe try those bullets that encompass an almost round nose look with a little plastic, ballistic tip while still being a hollow point?

>>
>>64744328 I'm notorious for buying the cheapest everything until it's fucking dead or does something cool. Did RIA make or sell a 9m/38 Super barrel that would drop in your gun?
50 years ago I bought spare barrel for Colt .38 Super and machined the back of the barrel out to .45 case diameter. 30-06 cases cut off behind the shoulder then necked down to 9mm.
I had to buy a little piece of tool steel and make an extractor with a little longer claw because the '06 rim smaller diameter.
What was cool about it was THE GUN WOULD FEED AND EJECT A MAG OF EMPTY CASES because of the shoulder on the case.
Also the brass was a LOT thicker just ahead of the rim and IF you needed or wanted to "throat" the barrel for even better feeding the case wasn't going to blow out. I had gotten a 6' barrel but had no chrono back then. It would do it's impression of a .357 Mag spitting outany shape bullet you wanted.
Hey just a thought - too much work but THAT would fix it :D
