How effective are the Japanese Self Defense Forces? Could they be as bad ass as the Imperial Japanese Army? How do they stack up to the PLA, Russian or Western armies if Japanese is allowed to fully re-arm?

This. They are all US trained, same with Korea and the Philippines.

They are a big question mark until the shit hits the fan and we can actually see them in real combat. They may surprise us.

Korea was being brutalized by the chinese, russians and even their own nobles. Japan couldn't just stand by watching their neighbours suffer and had to save the Koreans from this great injustice. Even though Korea had been aggressive and belligerent towards Japan in the past, the noble Japanese forgave them and intervened. Hence the historically correct term Humanitarian Intervention of 1910. Under the selfless tutelage of the Japanese, Korea entered the modern era.

/k/, I need you to rate this outline for a short story I came up for starring Pazu and Sheeta from Castle in the Sky

>the two fly off in the sunset to Sheeta's homeland of Gondoa
>finding Sheeta's family farm ransacked after being left abandoned during the events of the movie, the two have to rebuild it from scratch, but are undaunted
>Sheeta's pregnant within a month
>although they have a small fortune's worth of jewelry that was taken from Laputa, Pazu nonetheless takes up prospecting at a mining camp to help finance the repairs
>the very sight of Sheeta's growing belly with their first child gives Pazu an instant pregnancy fetish and the hormones turn her into a a lustful little pervert in her own right. The two literally can't keep off each other
>Sheeta begins to notice Pazu slowing down as fatigue takes a toll on him as she can't help him with repairing their house even if she wanted to because he won't let her
>one day, the two ride a shortline railway to another town for market day, while Pazu is distracted buying building supplies, Sheeta strolls into an exotic spice shop and a clothing store...
>after the end of the following work week, Pazu strolls home expecting dinner but finds some milk and cookies instead along with a note telling him to help himself
>little does he know, they're actually laced with enough mind-altering substances to incapacitate Cheech and Chong
>as the drugging begins to take effect Sheeta emerges from her hiding place wearing some newly purchased lingerie
>Pazu is full mast before she can even begin to take it off
>just as Pazu's mind completely disappears into a euphoric haze, Sheeta seductively takes a swig of his half-finished drink and bites down on a cookie, stating that it's safe for the baby too
>Sheeta pins Pazu down to the bed with her huge baby belly, rips her lingerie off and throws it into his face, and rides him until he's emptied a veritable bucketload into her

Roughly equivalent to 357mag energy, 30 rounds, no recoil, supersafety or a lack of understanding consequences means 30 rounds of 357 energy VERY FAST with no recoil.
You just point and burst and move on. It's wonderful.

Also you significantly overstated the size, A3's are very compact guns.

using 3rd tier Soviet weapons to play ropeAdope with NATO wonder-waffen makes Russia leader of BRICS.

Not really an issue with the entire German doctrine being around suppression rather than accurate kill shots. Either way, MG45 was cheaper and less complicated. If the T24 didn't fall apart at the proving ground it might have done well.

Realistically, what firearm would you need to take down a rampaging Na'vi from the Avatar films? Nine feet of solid muscle and bone (reinforced with natural carbon fibre), extremely fast-moving and agile, fighting on their own turf with very short engagement distances? There's no way 5.56 mm would cut it, would 7.62mm be enough?

You retards seriously underestimate the toughness of a properly forged and tempered steel breastplate. They were still used centuries after handheld firearms became a thing, because infantry muskets couldn't penetrate them and I doubt that Navii arrows travel faster than lead balls fired from a fucking Brown Bess. It's speed, not mass, that defeats armor and you have to be a retard to think that an arrow can outspeed a musket ball, no matter what kind of blue alien coon has fired it. The thing that made steel armor obsolete weren't handheld firearms, but artillery tactics and Naviis have nothing comparable to that. Fuck, WW1 German trench armor could defeat all contemporary pistol rounds and it was moderately effective against rifles from a distance, we're talking about supersonic projectiles. Again, it doesn't matter how jacked your blue catboy lovers are, their bows couldn't possible carry enough energy to defeat plate armor, especially not the kind that 22nd century metallurgy can create.
I know you want to fuck blue bussy, but don't be so pathetic that you honestly think a fucking stone tip arrow can do any significant damage to plates.

okay guys so im at DLI. i realized you can just plug the lesson text into chatgpt and make super passages that you can listen to and read for guaranteed high scores. it works. not just on me.

the problem is... ive told so many people about it. in casual conversation. im going to shut up about it.

whats the worst that can happen from this? i know that it's allowed. the problem is:

and yes, though its a bad thing to say. im worried it'll detract from my high scores. ive seen people eavesdropping, whom i know were stressed from the course, light up like they discovered fire when i started talking about this method. obviously im not smart because of this, i didnt develop anything, i didnt make chatgpt, i just stumbled upon a way to use it to learn so much better. but i am afraid people will start getting higher scores and it'll detract from me. whats the worst that could happen? even if scoring changes, i'd be long gone by then. a lot of my class knows. shit. i will shut up about it though.

anyway long wall of text, whats the worst that could happen? i do know that its allowed

should i just claim credit now and make an announcement? teaching people how to do this method. its so crazy effective and eliminates any need for effort. but i dont know. im thinking if its just in the rumor mill, it'll die eventually. plus i've realized a lot of us are anti AI, especially women at DLI? for some reason, they usually have dogma against AI. im thinking it has to do with art and it taking over artistic pursuits. anyway not the point.

i dont want it spreading to detract from myself. if its just in the rumor mill, its not a big deal. but if its spreading i might as well go full blast and receive credit by announcing it. i dont know. im willing to take any advice.

I just got a high paying job and in celebration I'm going to update my arsenal. Pls give input on my choices for these roles and let me know if there's something better:

>Ruger SFAR as main DMR rifle, open to other short receiver .308 ARs or a .308 bullpup
>M&P9 or 10mm Witness as handgun, I do live in grizzly country and this will be my primary HD/clearing gun
>Kel Tec RDB as building clearing/HD rifle
>KSG as HD shotgun
>Mossberg Aftershock as drone gun to be worn on a scabbard, can also double as bear gun with slugs
>300WM rifle as sniper (undecided but either a cheapo Savage bolty or go all in and get a Desert Tech SRS for $6k)

Already have my carry guns set and most of the common rifles for range funs but want specific ones that best fill those roles. What are your go-to's?

I heard bad things about the build quality (lots of MIM parts) and quality control when I was thinking of picking up an MDRX. Maybe they've sorted that out for the WLVRN. I hope they have, on paper it should be a great gun and I want myself a bullpup 7.62

WLVRN is good to go according to many.

Breezes through a sand and mud test:
https://youtu.be/aluHMcQHTn4

Polenar guy gives it nearly all excellent ratings, shoots under MOA groups and says it's the most accurate piston rifle he's ever shot:
https://youtu.be/CuAM4hykyYQ

There are tons of videos with accuracy testing showing it shooting at or under 1MOA with the right match ammo, 1-2 MOA can still be expected with good range ammo. It looks excellent and fieldable. The field stripping is great too, they reduced the number of parts so much you only need to remove the BCG, there is one single part to remove for field stripping, even the bolt is captive. The only complaints I've seen were it gets very hot when shot a lot, and some FTEs when converted to left handed ejection.

The sharpest thread on /k/.

Gen4 was the last one that had aesthetic soul. Gen5 felt like it had lost its identity and direction trying to appease the masses without changing too much, it was a setback in every way other than the improved barrel and making optics ready pistols the industry standard. Gen6 takes the changes far enough that it feels like a modern pistol on the same footing as the PDP and Echelon. The Gen6 is hands down the best Glock has ever been as a practical firearm and fixes every problem I had with Gen5. It's still an ugly gun, but at least it doesn't feel like a half-baked, confused mess anymore.
