The ziggers have come up with another brilliant plan to counter drones, walking tents! Guessing mostly for night ops to reduce thermal signature? Because these are definitely not good for day time at least. Though it'd be hilarious to see them try assaulting with these fucking things on. What will the ziggers dream up next to deal with thermal cams?

what are some memory holed wars?
Did you know the US invaded the Dominican Republic in 1965 with around 22,500 troops, 100 M48 Pattons, over 1000 combat air sorties. There was heavy fighting where around 60 Marines and 82nd Airborne troops died with 400 wounded.

Limp writing is mostly improper grip that is too low or off to the side. Proper hand placement is what matters.

Try 2 finger firing drills where you hold and fire the pistol with only your thumb and forefinger.

checked, thanks to Gaston's genius engineering design of that angle for the pistol

Semi off topic but after shooting striker fired guns for around 20 years almost exclusively, I got into revolvers. After a couple months getting used to DAO shooting with a j frame sized revolver, I practically feel like I'm cheating even with a bog standard glock 19. I've also come to the conclusion that trigger snobs are just making excuses for not being able to shoot.

Random unprompted rant: Despite the persistent perception that all German tanks were over engineered and overpriced, Panzer IVs were on average slightly cheaper than average Shermans and T-34s.

But yeah, while they were better in a few aspects, they were a lot more difficult to maintain Shermans, but still FAR more reliable than T-34s which (like Panthers) were trash in practical reality despite looking impressive on the spec sheets. The whole "over engineered and overpriced" is absolutely true if you compare tanks in completely different classes, apples and oranges, etc.
Tigers-1 cost 4 or 5 times as much as regular medium tanks, and Tiger-2s were twice the price of Tiger-1s.

Not sure if you misread CT as CW but they're different guns. The P938 recoil spring mod wouldn't work on the CW.
Anyway, are you using the Magguts extension kit? I have one mag with an older version another with a new version. The old one has 2 separate springs, the new one has them bolted together at the middle cup. The new design reliably chambers fiocchi, the old one doesn't.

When i got laid off from my cushy tech job they gave me a big fuckin blanket of a severance package, cashed out all my vacation hours, gave a lump sum of estimated medical benefits charges, all that stuff.
I used that to keep stable for about a year and find another job, get a new apartment, and buy some things i needed to buy.
My absolute last 700 dollars from that pile of cash was used on this cool lil guy.

The best part is that i've been looking for a beretta compact forever but didn't like that only Landberg Tactickstein has them in their most basic configuration. By swapping the slide and barrel it removes most of the LTT branding except for the serial number starting with LTT.

>Guerilla fighters in the woods never win.
Have you ever heard of the IRA? They literally made the entire countryside impossible to drive in for the British who ended up exclusively using helicopters to get around and even they got blown up.
Vietnam was won in the jungle, the NVA and VC got obliterated in Hue City.
FARC have been around for decades in the jungle.
The Taliban won in the countryside.
>Urban centers is historically where things get settled in modern wars
You mean like the Siege of Sarajevo where nothing at all happened in the city centre and all the Serb forces were in the woods around the city?
Again, Hue city in Vietnam. All the major Iraqi cities fell to the Americans.

You can have Grozny and that's basically it.

What tools for self defense would you recommend for someone in Europe to have when shit goes down. There are black powder revolvers shotguns and rifles, but you can't buy them everywhere in Europe. There are crossbows and bows but what is really their capacity to defend, and of course air rifles, in some countries they are unrestricted in some countries they are cucked and they are a hassle to have around in the case of an emergency. Better yet what should everybody own, not just weapons, in case they want to survive more than 72 hours.

Of course. It is (or was) a double blind test where you have to get more than half comparisons correct out of a dozen or two, so the result is statistically significant. You can find the full rules on the net.

that's the thing, there's not enough information revealed just yet to know what target sets it's going to be most effective against, but we can assume there's been multiple simulations and tests done that it's worthwhile to pursue and worth the cost for the targets the designers envisioned. it's unwise to assume it's globally ineffective and to discount it. just as it's unwise to overstate its effectiveness (which can lead to the costly desire for mid-course interceptors).

considering the target of this attack, it seems like russia wants real-world data on a single munition against an airfield target.
>>
>>64749068
>there's not enough information revealed just yet to know what target sets it's going to be most effective against,
There absolutely is, though: It just plain fucking sucks. It's only good for a shitty propaganda stunt unless you put nuclear warheads on it, because without them it's too inaccurate to be useful against hardened point targets and has too little splash to be meaningfully effective against area targets.

I just spent forever (fucking weeks) trying to buy fully legal parts for an AR15 in Washington so I made www.compliantarms.com over the weekend to make it easier for others.

It aggregates AR15 parts listings that will ship to Washington from a few of the biggest firearms sites. For example, the only PSA listings on there are complete uppers since for whatever reason that’s all they’ll send.

Have seen others having problems finding websites that ship as well so I figure it’s needed but do you guys think I should expand it to more states and more categories?
