I just spent forever (fucking weeks) trying to buy fully legal parts for an AR15 in Washington so I made www.compliantarms.com over the weekend to make it easier for others.

It aggregates AR15 parts listings that will ship to Washington from a few of the biggest firearms sites. For example, the only PSA listings on there are complete uppers since for whatever reason that’s all they’ll send.

Have seen others having problems finding websites that ship as well so I figure it’s needed but do you guys think I should expand it to more states and more categories?

Speak with a buddy in DE often, and been there many times.
For as barren and rural it is- the laws have turned grim. No surprise that assholes from Jersey and PA live there to skimp on taxes and it is Biden’s home state.
They just implemented a law that makes you register finger prints to buy anything.

That's sad, it could be a pretty cool state. Like you said it's so empty and the no sales tax thing is pretty sweet. I looked it up and apparently you need a permit just to buy a fucking pistol in the first place, fingerprinting is just fucking insane. I guess it's similar to how some of these southern states like md and Virginia are getting bad because of the proximity to dc. It's pretty insane how shitty little liberal cities full of foreigners and darkies are allowed to just strong arm their entire states. Im terrified that philly will do to Pa what nyc did to ny.

Being a pig in Australia requires a full education and university degree and even at that high standard it still attracts the most degenerate scum society has to offer. I can't even imagine how bad it is in the US where you don't need a highschool diploma, basic literacy or to pass a psych test. Just straight from the trailer park to a Walmart parking lot near you with a gun and impunity to shoot people stealing T shirts. I don't know if they even ask your immigration status.

The Jeet organized crime in Canada is highly organized, transnational, linked to political parties and terror groups.

They also more or less have domination over the trucking industry resulting in a lot of smuggling.

If you want a rabbit hole to go down, look into the Tow Truck Wars in Toronto or the Khalistan enclaves within British Columbia. When SHTF in Canada they will likely be pretty well armed and organized.

To paraphrase a guy on Cangen, any gun store employee will confirm how they are trying to kit up and acquire a lot of firepower, ask any indoor range employee about how incompetent they are with actual weapons handling.

Are Zerg weapons realistically comparable to Protoss and Terran weapons? It seems like both should have the weapons to wipe out the Zerg without that much difficulty.

Yeah the handful of books all bear that out pretty well. A single bunker can kill hundreds, but when the zerg carrier the horizon, it doesn't matter. Plus they're sneaky and like to ambush/pick people off until the hit critical mass.

Hell, even the in game cinematics do a good job- when we see a marine team get wiped boarding a science vessel, it's because the hydras jump them from all angles, including above, not because they commit to a stand up fight.

His story re not gitting gud is kind of tragic. Most people know him as a caster, but he moved to Korea originally to pro game with casting on the side and his first contract was meant to give him access to a PC and training time to grind against gosu Koreans. When he arrived, broke and naive, they actually gave him a mattress on the floor and told him tough shit, dance for us monkey if you want food money. Old man streaming Artosis is pretty much the first time he's ever semi-seriously practiced the game since playing US ladder as a teenager.

There are so many stories like this in South Korean esports, it's fucking insane. Basically, learning them convinced me that most South Koreans must be insanely self-centered and have precisely zero ethics.

Some German pilots racked up a lot of kills but they didn’t have air superiority after 1943. They didn’t have enough fuel and pilots to keep up and most of what they did have was moved to western front to deal with the bombing campaign
>>
>>64731981
airspace was heavily contested by Soviet pilots during that time.
>>
>>64728940
Unless your enemy is incompetent logistical strikes can only go so far. They'll slow the enemy advance and make them less combat effective, but you do need a ground force.

>>64731880
Germany up until like 1943 on the Eastern Front, also probably America and the UN in Korea once the Chinks arrived. However having better ground forces tends to go hand in hand with having better air forces and vice versa, thus examples will be rare. If your enemy has fewer planes odds are they have fewer tanks, if they don't train their tankers well they probably don't train their pilots well, if their air doctrine is shit than their ground doctrine is probably also shit. You rarely see militaries with one branch in particular that is much more or less competent than the others.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbKiz4efUtQ

AFAIK the germans still kicked soviet ass in the sky in 1942 but still could not reverse the ground lost. The frontline was so bad that a soviet tank corps managed to do a 200km+ raid deep into german lines to attack a german airfield which sealed 6th army fate in stalingrad.

It would be very interesting if we could get a per capita comparison of comparable Russian vs Nork equipment losses. I strongly suspect that Nork equipment losses are significantly less (proportionately) than equivalent Russian systems despite some Nork systems (Koksans and Bulsae) being specifically hunted down.

Keep in mind that even if the operators were identical in skill you would see less Nork losses due to a longer range (Koksans, 240/300mm MLRS) but i think the losses will be much more disproportionate than mere range would tend to indicate. While the systems are different enough (Koksans appear to be tougher than Russian SP guns and Bulsae has no Russian equivalent) to account for some disproportionate results the numbers for TELs and heavy MLRS systems should be interesting; the latter two don't have enough of a range advantage for it to be all that meaningful.

Can any naval history knowers tell me how navies (specifically USN and RN) corraled and policed on shore sailors before the adoption of formal shore patrol in the 20th century?

Obviously Master of Arms dates back to the 18th century but how did they enforce discipline in port? Ships would have only 1 MAA and 1-2 Corporals at Arms so did they empower sailors to assist like SP or use marines? Even my extremely autistic encyclopedia of the age of sail Neson's Navy by Brian Laverty that provides extreme detail on every subject from the provisoning of ships, the purpose of every knot used aboard ship to the practicality of buggery at sea only states the basic duties of the MAA and that shore leave was only provided to a limited number of sailors at any one time.
>>
>>64732281
Marines were basically navy MPs back in the day

Their primary job was enforcing order aboard the ship
>>
>>64732281
Just to be clear, even today it's not "formalized" really, it's just an inport watchbill. Marines were not used any more than Sailors, since they were also on liberty. It was typically the petty officers (which were closer to what we today would call warrant officers) the commissioned officers, sometimes the boatswains mates, the MA, and local constabulary.

Why wouldn't something like pic related work fine as a "do everything" gun for a person living in the densely forested hills of Appalachia, where the power and ballistic advantage of a rifle simply isn't necessary?
>plinking will be good fun with the naturally subsonic .45
>definitely suitable for home defense
>easy enough to fit in a backpack, or take the can off and carry it on your person
>get some .45 Super for killing deer or hogs, or mess around with round ball loadings for taking small game or for pest control
Yes, it's true that rifles can be had for dirt cheap these days. And it's also true that there is no real reason to limit yourself to just one gun, especially a handgun. But in an autistic min-max fantasy where you literally can only own one gun and it has to be able to be carried 24/7/365, does a suppressed .45 automatic make sense? The only real downside I see here is that this is not the best option for summertime concealed carry in hot climates.
>>
Good post Op. I personally believe (cost being a factor) .45 acp is the superior suppressed caliber for long guns and handguns.
>>
>>64731902
Maybe in a PCC.
>>
>>64731902
Why do you need a suppressor? Isn't the scout rifle concept effectively to give the user the ultimate hunting rifle? Something light, accurate, and easy to point with a generous FOV? Where does a suppressor fit into that? Frankly I'd say something like a red or blackhawk with a scope would better conform to Cooper's concept in a handgun but justify your 45 purchase however you see fit
>>
>>64732131
You don't "need" it but a suppressor is simply the number one best thing you can do to increase shootability and enjoyment of a gun. Having the option for hunting without hearing protection, or not concussing yourself into unconsciousness during an indoor shoot are huge benefits.
>>
>>64731902
