After monke started his invasion many young men who had the money left Russia.
When rumors started circulating about the 'partial mobilization' there was an outright exodus, every flight to Turkey and central asia was full, the border crossings to Georgia, Kazakhstan etc. had long lines of cars waiting to cross.
All 'for holidays', of course.

I've seen estimates ranging from between 2 to 3.2 million men that left, plus wives and children.
>>
>>64646389
staging ground maybe? Ziggers are forced to cross the last 20-40 km distance to the front mostly on foot in drone saturated areas because anything larger than a scooter gets blown the fuck up. Maybe this was a fresh batch of meat getting delivered to the edge of the danger zone and someone higher up decided that it was worth expending GMLRS on them
>>

The way I'm seeing it, I think they are huddled around ammo/fuel containers left on the road.
The OP's image shows that those clearly aren't vehicles, they're shorter than the average mobik and about twice as wide.

At the time she was lost, Manawanui represented 12.5% of new Zealand's fleet by hull count and greater than 22% by displacement. Just like Ingstad, it's an example of how a lack of naval tradition results in designs and procedures that cause ships to sink even in peacetime.
>>
>>64644940
>Okay, but Helge Ingstad returned to port on a barge, not under her own power.
None of the US ships which got hit returned "under their own power", in real terms. They were all either picked up by a heavy-lift ship (Samuel B. Roberts, Cole), or repaired by a tender (Stark). The crew merely kept them afloat and/or got them out of immediate danger, until proper help arrived.
Had the HI crew been properly trained, they could've done the same, as the incident report pointed out repeatedly.
>>
>>64644953
>Just like Ingstad, it's an example of how a lack of naval tradition results in designs and procedures that cause ships to sink even in peacetime.

>Norway does not have a naval tradition
>Really? Norwegian sailors reached the US east coast a thousand years ago before the first mutt even spawned.

Helge Ingstad was lost due to instutionalized incompetence caused by what Bezmenov calls "demoralization", a phenomen better known as "derangement". According to scholars, it happens when normies without the ability to map the world are exposed to repeated absurd lies that are touted as true while obviously not being true. The normie does not recognize this as a lie (he cant map the world) but instead starts to believe that truth is defined by social consensus. The american scholar Theodore Dalrymple noticed this effect when he studied communist propaganda and its effect on targeted populations.

Modern western normies are taught clearly absurd things such as "women are as capable of men" "there are no such thing as race" "IQ tests are bigotry" "jews are innocent" etc etc. This eventually have practical consequences, such as organizations that used to be professional filling up with incompetents over time, because the very idea of someone being innately incompetent has been wiped from the normie consciousness. In short, Helge Ingstad was lost due to a sucessfull psyop process. And whos behind this psyop? Thats a discussion to be taken in /pol/.

This post is on topic, because this is a practical example of 5th generation warfare, which targets the mind, not the body. And this weapon is being used on americans as well.

Some males have exceptional resistance against this kind of warfare because they have a highly functional right side brain hemisphere, the part of the brain responsible for understanding causality, spatial relationships, sequences and such things. Most dont. Women have an underdeveloped right side brain hemisphere compared to males.

The coast guard cutter is not suitable for ASW because it does not have a rafted machinery setup. It was never meant to be more than a patrol boat for chasing contraband in the caribbean.

The institutional rot in the USN has gone so far that they repeatedly fail complex projects. This is also the navy that has an informal policy of sending out ships in a semi derelict state and then blaming the crew when the inevitable fuckup happens. This rot is possible to fix, but also not possible to fix, because the typical american and the typical american politician has a warped world view that blinds him to the causes of this rot.

Now imagine, you are not an american, you are an outsider and watching this from the outside. You clearly see that they are fucked up, and that they cant fix themselves. What does this mean for american security guarantees? It means that they are not something that can be taken seriously because these guys are fuckups. So this USN fuckery cannot be allowed to continue but it also cannot be fixed.

Steel toes and steel soles, fire resistant, waterproof, slip resistant, chemical resistant while many tacticool boots are made of flammable plastics like underarmor.

I'm not a firefighter but I've learned about their boots. I have a pair of Nick's I use for work, and they're absolutely awesome. I do welding and fabrication and they protect my feet far better than any other boot I've ever owned. But most importantly, they actually get the fit right because they want detailed measurements of your feet, not just one number.

>>64646060
>you can absolutely get good boots in aliexpress

And in my world the people who use zip boots are exclusively dudes who don't work on their feet. They're either sitting in a vehicle or sitting at a desk.
When they do need to use those boots for boot shit, the boots fail pretty regularly and very quickly.

Like I said, boots are specialized PPE. Zip boots are convenient at the expense of durability, and that makes them not suitable for a lot of the tasks you'd traditionally want boots for.

>>
>>64646081
This was actually attempted. It was found that the large cats refused to turn their hunting mode off. thus all it really did was create man eating large cats. Heck, even the small cats are some of the most aggressive hunters on the planet. we only think they're cute because at ten pounds they're basically harmless.

Not anymore. Western nations stopped this once the media caught wind. It's actually Flips doing the dumping now because they get everything wrapped in plastic from China and they don't care about the environment. The people there don't give a fuck and just throws shit anywhere. No joke, there was a Philippine exchange student in my uni class back in the day. This guy would just toss any wrapping or trash on the ground even if there was a trashcan close by. When he got called out on it he said they just do that back home and that the city pays people to clean up. Dude was a chain smoking asshole who eventually got deported for overstaying his student visa.

I never buy biodegradable plastic bags or other packaging stuff because just falls apart into (ultra)fine particles that will remain in the soil for another 10+ years. If they are biodegradable you need a special composter that creates environment (heat/pressure/humidity requirements) that allow the plastic to "dissolve" and even that does not secure it's 100% ECO friendly.

To anyone who has owned or shot one at length: is the KSG well-made enough to even be a serious consideration for ownership? Does it possess either enough perceived quality to serve as a range toy / sporting gun, or enough reliability to facilitate self-defense? Ignoring the price difference, does it stack up favorably to something like a Maverick 88 in either of these categories? If it's bad factory, is it capable of being salvaged by user modification, or is it beyond redemption?

>uses the safety to force the reset of the trigger
>allows for way more trigger options (you just have to trim two places)
>invented by Tim Hoffman (https://hoffmantactical.com)
>gifted to the world to freely 3D print
>enterprising people now selling super safeties made of steel (recommend at least 4140)
>cheaper than an FRT ($90-$150)
>originally a 3-position cross-bolt safety
>left is safe, right is semi, middle is super
>3-position 90° super safety selectors are now available

It's a real problem with military types, they think literally everything is the same as what they were issued and the one way they were taught is always the correct way.
