don't you have someone at your unit you can call/text? your AIT will have nothing to do with your unit's drill schedule whatsoever and won't be able to provide that info

Not really
2020-2024 was very bad so even a small jump is noteworthy
Now the economy is setting in and people can't find jobs so yeah a few more people joined, but still not a ton.
And since jobs are hard to find this makes retention numbers equally good because who's gonna get out when things are uncertain

If you wanna join it's basically the same as any other time. Wait for the job you want but you may not get it if you can't wait. There are still a lot of incentives they can give especially for army, like guaranteed duty station and/or airborne.

18 USC § 921(a)(16)
>The term “antique firearm” means— (A) any firearm (including any firearm with a matchlock, flintlock, percussion cap, or similar type of ignition system) manufactured in or before 1898; or (B) any replica of any firearm described in subparagraph (A) if such replica— (i) is not designed or redesigned for using rimfire or conventional centerfire fixed ammunition, or (ii) uses rimfire or conventional centerfire fixed ammunition which is no longer manufactured in the United States and which is not readily available in the ordinary channels of commercial trade; or (C) any muzzle loading rifle, muzzle loading shotgun, or muzzle loading pistol, which is designed to use black powder, or a black powder substitute, and which cannot use fixed ammunition...
Emphasis
>or (C) any muzzle loading rifle, muzzle loading shotgun, or muzzle loading pistol, which is designed to use black powder, or a black powder substitute, and which cannot use fixed ammunition...
It's not federally a firearm. Traditions is being gay fags.
>barrel swap
Doesn't matter. In the as-sold configuration it cannot fire fixed ammo. Percussion revolvers can take cartridge conversion cylinders and they are not considered firearms unless they are sold with the conversion cylinder installed. QED
>>
>>64732305
Read the last sentence.
>>
>>64732309
In the as-sold configuration it cannot use fixed ammunition. It is not legally a firearm. Traditions is just being gay because their lawyers are (somewhat rightfully) paranoid.

For that dude asking me about the sharpness of the v14 spartan george edges, they’re sharp as fuck.

In fact I sliced the hell out of the meat of my ring finger trying to pull the dagger from the sheath Ouch. Got some of that medical super glue on there. The pads of your fingers bleed a ton.

>>
>>64699815
Thanks for the recommendation again. Im a huge fan of this one and Im already planning a 3 day camping trip to try to test it out. I know the sheath is a bit bulky but I liked the pouch on my BK10 to keep some vaseline soaked cotton balls and a ferro rod so I can start fires easily with just the knife and sheath. Love this bad larry.

Probably mid-late Korean War when UN forces were being pushed back by the Chinese.
>>
>>64731891
Some German pilots racked up a lot of kills but they didn’t have air superiority after 1943. They didn’t have enough fuel and pilots to keep up and most of what they did have was moved to western front to deal with the bombing campaign
>>
>>64731981
airspace was heavily contested by Soviet pilots during that time.
>>
>>64728940
Unless your enemy is incompetent logistical strikes can only go so far. They'll slow the enemy advance and make them less combat effective, but you do need a ground force.

>>64731880
Germany up until like 1943 on the Eastern Front, also probably America and the UN in Korea once the Chinks arrived. However having better ground forces tends to go hand in hand with having better air forces and vice versa, thus examples will be rare. If your enemy has fewer planes odds are they have fewer tanks, if they don't train their tankers well they probably don't train their pilots well, if their air doctrine is shit than their ground doctrine is probably also shit. You rarely see militaries with one branch in particular that is much more or less competent than the others.

Germany in 1942 eastern front?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbKiz4efUtQ

AFAIK the germans still kicked soviet ass in the sky in 1942 but still could not reverse the ground lost. The frontline was so bad that a soviet tank corps managed to do a 200km+ raid deep into german lines to attack a german airfield which sealed 6th army fate in stalingrad.

Of the past 100 years of American wars, what was the most fun? Just a generally good time had by all.

Also, a general thread on these little guys and what can be done to improve on their airframes and tactical usage.
