I purchased my helmet liner from at the front. It's alright, it just seems a bit oversized. I'm going to try shrink fitting it. For utilities I hear SM wholesale is the best, they made the uniforms for The Pacific. I purchased my poncho on ebay though. You can get originals NOS for ~$150.

Unironically this gun has reignited my passion for BRs and guns in general.
It kicks like a mule, but has nearly no muzzle rise (?) and the entire gun just feels like it was made with an extra level of detail/care, like a semi-custom shop pistol that is non-existent anymore. Not to mention all the swiss army knife details like the captive takedown pins, swiveling trigger guard, etc.

Suisseniggers get my applause, 5 star niggas, this shit literally makes HK looks cheap.

That be a lie. They're just as slow as any other slavshit tank. It's a 6 cylinder 12 piston opposed-piston engine, which means you have two pistons that move towards one another from a crank on either side instead of moving from one crank towards a head. It's a neat but stupid design, if you need to get to the pistons, you'd probably need to split the block. A competent engineer would just make the engine bay bigger to fit a more reasonable V engine.

Yeah this, though of course if you're in shape and a decent shot even after having traveled a distance that's kind of fundamental anyway. But that's not what biathlon itself is particularly if amateurs just want to put together a fun time in the winter that's different from some of the typical stuff.

400,000 cat bites occur annually in the U.S. 5–15% of all animal bites reported in humans are from cats. 66,000 emergency department visits result from cat bites each year. Women are more likely to be bitten by cats than men or children.

You've heard of FRTs, but what's a "super safety"?
>uses the safety to force the reset of the trigger
>allows for way more trigger options (you just have to trim two places)
>invented by Tim Hoffman (https://hoffmantactical.com)
>gifted to the world to freely 3D print
>enterprising people now selling super safeties made of steel (recommend at least 4140)
>cheaper than an FRT ($90-$150)
>originally a 3-position cross-bolt safety
>left is safe, right is semi, middle is super
>3-position 90° super safety selectors are now available

Cool for repros I guess, 3 round burst generally sucks though. Stoner himself despised it. As he put it, any other length of burst would work better. HK knew this and made a 2 round burst trigger pack, but I'm not aware of any other company that did this. A 2 round burst FRT would be the tits, especially in an MP5.
>>
>>64767023
>A 2 round burst FRT
Would be kinda pointless to actually make, because binary triggers exist and are slightly less likely to have a federal judge go "these are obviously machine gun parts".

you need to have the torpedo slow down quite a bit which makes it very vulnerable for surface combat. SS-N-14's were cruise missile torpedoes but because they were anti-sub they didn't need to worry about getting shot down
>>
>>64765133
Supersonic torpedoes already are powered by rocket engine instead of propeller, since they foam the water providing nothing for the propeller to grab onto.
It might be way too complex to bother, mayby instead use a subsonic drone to deploy the torpedo so you can use more of them.

Ukranians can put AMRAAM on a 70's Soviet jet in a few months. Western countries don't REALLY need 4 years to integrate a modern missile onto a modern jet, but they spend that time anyway.

Its food release was also ass. It seems to actually cut skins nicely (looking at the tomato and the grape), but the edge isn’t great and the mechanism requires you to hold it like you’ve never used a kitchen knife, so his results in all of the cuts looked like trash even when the effort was lower due to the ultrasonic vibrations (curling cuts, etc).

Realistically, what firearm would you need to take down a rampaging Na'vi from the Avatar films? Nine feet of solid muscle and bone (reinforced with natural carbon fibre), extremely fast-moving and agile, fighting on their own turf with very short engagement distances? There's no way 5.56 mm would cut it, would 7.62mm be enough?

>Joerg Sprave was able to pinhole an armor plate that would stop a thousand fucking musketballs
You talking about this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spAixVBRmB8
As far as I know that is older italian rifle plate made out of compressed laminated ballistic fiber (kevlar or PE I dont remember) is about 2cm thick. And while yes that is impressive I wouldn't bet it can do the same against a rifle rated plate made out of steel or ceramic. That is best demonstrated using these two videos of chinese mystery rifle plates against a 70 pound compound bow
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3EMwWokgp4
>PE plate get penetrated
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EQsB3o5YEw
>Ceramic or steel plate (I dunno) does not get penetrated

And if that is not the JoergSprave video you are talking about then can you post it?.
>>
>>64767024
>Joerg poked a hole through a hardened steel plate using only five or six times the energy of a longbow
>Do you mean the time he shot through a kevlar vest with a half to a third the energy of a longbow?
I'll find the video for you at the end of the day but in the meantime I want you to go back and for the first time actually read what I fucking said.

>>64765144
>Joerg doesn't own a musket
Oh well damn if only anyone else in human history had ever shot that very very common piece of steel available cheaply worldwide then maybe we could draw a comparison.

A 6mm hardened steel plate will stop a fucking quarter pound of lead fired at musket velocity.
>>
>>64767187
I actually found the video, my misstake was looking at the high viewer count videos and looking at the thumbnail for crossbows or really big bows.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQbCjvkSNzU
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1U7TRDFjnFM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QqDPyTCAZ0
And holy shit this aint 5 or 6 times the energy of a longbow, it is over 10-16 times the energy of the longbows in todd's arrow vs armor test 3.
https://youtu.be/SFFgcTzCvMo?t=156
He didn't build a super crossbow or longbow. He built a super airgun that is about the same size as an assault rifle or battle rifle.
>400 grams
>1100 joules of energy
>30 newton second
>steel arrow stainless steel projectile (with hardened center punch tip?)
