Why aren't ballistic submarines the backbone of world navies? Why haven't surface ships been relegated to carrier protection and amphibious operations? Why not make SLBMs out of RIM-66s and Standard missiles and Tomahawks and ASROCs? If you want force projection why wouldn't the ambiguity of the presence of submarines be enough to scare your enemies?

They are and they have. All surface primary navies (e.g. anyone not the US) are larping. US surface fleet conducts policing actions against non threats and screens carriers. Like, holy shit dude, they were picking the new boats based on shore bombardment for a while. The SSGN is the battleship of the missile age, all that shit already happened, you're so behind we're talking about what's next dude.

SSGNs are getting retired. SSN are the future.

When I submit a 4473 to a shop in order to buy a handgun, will I be flagged if I've admitted myself (voluntary) to the mental hospital for major depression, in Seattle, WA? I have no criminal record, ostensibly not on the police's radar, I've never even applied for a CPL and gotten my prints recorded. HIPAA keeps me out of the federal background check, no? Not currently on medication, haven't been for a year or so.

Have you been actually diagnosed by some kind of medical professional? How intensely autistic are you that recruiters are just cold diagnosing you? Be honest.
>>
>>64760675
No good answer. Marines do vague contracts that could stick you into a bunch of things.
I've been told aviation is surprisingly decent in the marines though. Doubt it's better than say, the 160th though. At least you know what airframe you'll work on in the Army.
Do not join the Marines unless it's during a war. Don't do it.

>Find another recruiter if you truly want this
I dont think I need another recruiter as I am already enlisted into the DEP
He also isnt standing in my way and he didnt say anything to me directly and he generally seems pretty nice
Its just allegedly he said those things to another applicant and the other applicants told me about it

I am not upset with him over saying or thinking anything it just makes me self conscious and worried about being "found out" and removed from basic

I have not said anything about it to him or anyone and I shrugged it off and laughed and acted like I wasnt bothered when the other applicant told me this

>>64760898
I was diagnosed when I was in elementary school but my parents fought the school to keep me from being put in therapy and on Ritalin or Adderall or etc

I dont really know "how autistic" I am as its hard to judge from my own shoes
I can recognize that habits I have and things I like align with people I see online that would be made fun of for being "autistic" or "weird"

One last question, then I'll fuck off until I succeed.
>I haven't spoken to a recruiter yet.

I keep retyping this but I'd rather ask and be told I am a retard than not ask.
>I keep reading different things, I don't know the best course of action.
>Considering that I'll be 30 in a couple months.

I might be overthinking this.

If my recruiter asks about drug use; do I be completely honest?

or
is this more like a job interview where both parties know we are "showing" our best-self and partly lying out of our ass.

Starting with this piece of shit. Any gun that gets a cracked frame within 20,000 rounds is an irredeemable hunk of absolute dogshit. That isn’t even a high round count for 9mm. Glock runs circles around beretta.

Chris Bartocci from SmallArmsSolultions has a video on the M9 and or Mr.GunsNGear does talking about this. Just look over the wedge and if you see any chipping or cracking it is time. But as another anon pointed out if you are really concerned get a new one as they are inexensive from Beretta. I would also suggest replacing the recoil spring on any used gun as well. I hope that helps anon.

Say you re an intelligence agency and you need to track a guy of a previous regime, and he just picked a remote third world location you dont know, crossed them border got a bit of surgery and integrated in some rural village there, without having contacts with anyone of his previous life.
How do you track them down?
>>
>>64761513
Either they maintain contact with people back home and you get to them through those people, or they don't and you never find them. Neither option is relevant since you probably don't actually want to find the guy, getting them back is going to be more trouble than they're worth and it sets a bad precedent for when your regime gets kicked over.
>>
>>64761513
Getting there involves flight or sailing, crossing borders illegally usually involves organised crime, plastic surgeons are rare and vanishingly rare in the third world, and strangers are usually not well received in poor, isolated communities. It'd be easier to get botox injections and become homeless somewhere like SF or Berlin.

I was once mulling an idea of a noir detective game set in soviet cyberpunk-esq setting where the detectives gun would be a OTS-38 type gun but in a larger non-silenced caliber, something closer to 10mm or 12.7mm.
trunk gun would obviously be a KS-23.

Never seen this particular combo of loose cropped shirt and sweatpants, but I have seen girls wearing purposefully low-waisted pants so you'd see the swimsuit style top that I don't know the name of.
I understand that you're getting at the fact that anime-style artists pick clothing designed for NEURON ACTIVATION which can go from flat out slutty to just impractical. But in this case I have indeed seen these swimsuit looking pieces starting to get common around 2023.

Tech is obviously a major fucking issue for Russians but keep in mind SEAD/DEAD isn’t happening in a vacuum unless you’re retarded. You’re neutralizing enemy AD umbrella for x reason(s). I think a lot of the world fails to see the US military in the whole and tend to look at specific assets and then try and compare (chink dongfengs vs a CSG, leopard vs abrams, etc.) but that’s not how the US operates. To be fair that is certainly how some of these retard forces are working like the helicopter rocket firing arcs though so I understand. With SEAD you are coming, and maybe you’re staying but regardless you are coming into that area. So you wild weasel, or in some fashion get the SAMs to turn on to kill you and then you kill them first. You need numbers and you need tempo far more than just having the tech to do so. You need to constantly apply pressure and have something ready to engage the moment a radar lights up one of your toys. Russia can’t do that. Think about a Russian drone attack - they can’t station a jet loitering in the vicinity of potential launch zones because that jet lacks the means to engage from a better range than the SAM (potentially). Similarly, they can’t wait and mark launch locations and then strike later because the slow tempo means those targets have probably relocated by then. If I was a russian I’d be evaluating the feasibility of some sort of general redirection abilities on my shit drones and the feasibility of implementing some sort of Home on Jam system so that a few of my drones in the attack swarm could be diverted to active radars (depending on SIGINT/ELINT abilities) and then home on the emission source. But that’s still ONLY radars and not launchers.
>>
>>64757188
>if I were Russian I would…
If you were Russian you would not be able to string together a coherent thought that complex. Not saying it’s overly complex but their minds have a character limit similar to Twitter but also it’s always gay/rape related.
>>
>>64752812
There's never enough

FPV attack drones already rolling out, 16–20 a day. Bigger toys coming: Vitol fixed-wing, 5m wingspan, 50kg payload, planned 1,000km tests. K1 kamikaze drone with the same range, 30kg warhead. Skifteri for MoD/export.
>>
>>64761387
Strange limits. How are they going to stream the 4k video back the 1000km? Why not actually use the 4k video on a 50km attack and at the same time 100kg of warhead? 2500m is carburetor needs to be adjusted altitude I guess that came from there.
>>
>>64761481
Honestly 4k seems to much for that, i would have like you used that 4k camera on drones with less range but what do i know. Most interesting thing is that smaller countries are going full speed on such drones, sure they are probably really good deterrenta against their neighbors like Serbia.
