What are the strategic implications of Russia deploying (literal) cavalry wave attacks against Ukrainian positions and drones in the last month of 2025? Has the eyebrow been raised?

>>64684682>Nuh uh, the defendant has the presumption of innocence when claiming defense of lifeYou have a presumption of innocence meaning the State must presumptively prove the alleged conduct, but asserting certian defense require an ADMISSION to the conduct in order to justify the conduct. Self-defense is an AFFIRMATIVE defense, meaning you MUST admit to the alleged conduct but you assert the defense as a JUSTIFICATION to the conduct. The alternative would be the absurd situation where Defense claims "I didn't shoot him but if I did I feared for my life" which would make no sense.
>>64673769>What is even the target audience?Milk enthusiasts
>>64685436>Self-defense is an AFFIRMATIVE defense, meaning you MUST admit to the alleged conductNot if a grand jury rejects something like pic rel as sufficient evidence for indictment
>>64685665Well yeah, grand jury proceedings are not trial. They exist only to find whether there is sufficient probable cause of the alleged conduct to issue a true bill to indict. Culpability and potential defenses generally do not factor into the decision. In fact in most states the defendant (or more accurately the "target") has no right to participate in the grand jury proceedings. If the grand jury doesn't find probable cause there's no charge to assert a defense to.

Was it better than the su27?
>>64685202It's just a pigfat, slower, SU-27 with more payload. It will be significantly worse at anything other than lobbing a shitton of missiles , but SU-27 will fire first and hit first due to imparting more velocity onto the missile from more altitude in a traditional engagement. That's the long answer, the short answer is that it can defend itself marginally if it comes under fire while doing a bomb run. Less so than an F-15E

I opened it not knowing what it was and it unfolded at warp speed and smacked me in the face, giving me a nose bleed. would a starship-based gunship or dragon-based gunship work?
>>64678625you could have starship-based bigger designs but i think something small and simple to launch will be the first millitarized armed spacecraft
>>64678061>>64678084Honestly I think the core technology really missing is self propagating small unmanned vehicles capable of doing detail work. Shipping stuff up into orbit is a losing proposition vs sourcing what you need and assembling it already in space. Until that becomes a reality I don't see anything coming from space combat outside of one or two super powers launching them for clout before proceeding to do absolutely fuck all with them outside of burning literal piles of money on maintaining them.
>>64681299We're already decades past the first armed, manned spacecraft. Space has always been militarized, despite the rhetoric.>>64681328That's how ISS was built, launch modules then have astronauts do the required hookups.

Pistol related but last question thread died a while ago. Are all 1911 .45 barrels interchangeable with all other 1911 models? I've got a Kimber and want a threaded barrel for it and I'm wondering if I should just get a Kimber barrel for it.
>>64682575>let's say i want to buy a can from somewhere elseI'm fucking retarded disregard. Yes you'd have to get them redone at the new place unless you could get your old place to give you your prints and your new place would accept them (doubt it). They have some weird file format specifically for prints IIRC. Would just be easier to redo anyways.
Why was twist rate in AR15 lowered from its original 1:7 to 1:8 and 1:9. Seems on paper that to use the still most common 55gr and 62gr you’d keep it 1:7. And what the hell is with 1:12
>>64685140You got it backwards. The original twist rate was 1:12", which is great for lightweight high velocity loads like M193 and even lighter varmint loads which is why a lot of 223 bolt action rifles still use it. When they went to M855 with the M16A2 they dropped all the way down to a 1:7" twist rate because that stabilizes the 62gr projectiles better. Intermediate twist rates like 1:9" and 1:8" exist as compromises to stabilize both and are more of a commercial invention. As far as I am aware they never saw use by the military but I could be wrong on that.
>>64685262Thank you.
>>64685262>Intermediate twist rates like 1:9" and 1:8" exist as compromises to stabilize both and are more of a commercial invention.pretty sure 1:9 was every other military non ar twist rate. like the aug various aks in 556 a lot of early 556 adopters that didnt copy 1:12 were 1:9 then 1:7 later after the standardization.
